  1. I read very few manga series; OP was the second one I ever read and has become a huge landmark series for me. Usually my interest in a series waxes and wanes over time but I've constantly read this series for five years now. At its best it's legendary and at its worst it's still pretty entertaining. I tend to deviate from many users here in that I enjoy Dressrosa very much but I don't think much of Skypiea. Barring maybe a couple works OP is one of the best series I've read.
  2. Thanks! Honestly, the most I can say about my knowledge about writing techniques is that it comes from reading a lot and engaging in open discussion. So discussing OP here as frequently as I do has almost certainly given me a lot of knowledge.

Another thing to consider is that a lot of it is also subjective. I tend to get into a lot of disagreements here haha, so it's not like there's one absolute standard to grade writing. You just gain knowledge about writing conventions, and see whether or not something fits your understanding of a good work. And all the discussion I've done has definitely helped shape how I view writing, however stubborn I continue to be with some people.
  3. You make a lot of good points in regards to writing. where do you get your knowledge from? and how would you grade OP series as a whole?
