  1. Hope you had a great Christmas and that your job search is going well.

I think at one point you said you would be interested in trying Trails in the Sky and I think now would be a good time to try the game out. It's half off on Steam so the price is pretty good, and currently in the Trails in the Sky thread there is a little competition going on to give thoughts about the first game from playing and beating it to win the second game. You can click here to go to the post about the rules. Since you played Persona 3 I guess you have at least some interest in JRPGs, and this series I rank up there with the Persona games so I think you should give it a try. If you need more reasons to try it out in the next few days I will be posting my non-spoiler thoughts about why the game is so good.
  2. Ah, okay. I would think it would snow super rarely in Houston, Texas. I guess I was wrong.

As for the UPS thing, I agree, that makes things getting done a lot faster, indeed! Sounds like a nice system there! ^^

Oh, okay. (About Xenoverse.) I remember playing some Dragonball fighting games in the past, and of course I played the Game Boy Advance RPG trilogy of Dragonball Z XD As for Persona 3, I think it is a very fun game! I love the social link system in the game ^^

As for Persona 4, I won't be starting that for a while. My next plan is other games, as right now, my plan is to play Sonic Generations (PS3 version). Then after that, work on another game that I have not finished yet. I started a bunch of games in the past, and never finished them. So, trying to get them completed.

And I knew about Captain Ugly working at a library, quite indeed! ^^ (I talk to him, and I also participate in his RPG story.)
  3. Yeah, I live in Texas, more specifically the Houston area. As for the UPS stuff generally they have just the driver in the truck, but they just get so many deliveries this time of year they hire people to help them out so it goes by faster. While I deliver the package the driver can find the package for the next house and make the process faster. When you have 100's of packages in the truck it can get tricky to find them in a timely manner.

I should've specified about the game, it's Dragonball Xenoverse, so no relation to any of those other games. Overall what is your impression of Persona 3, and are you planning on starting Persona 4 after that?

Working at a library sounds like it could be interesting. If you got that job there would be two APers that work at libraries (Captain Ugly works at a Library as well).
  4. Yeah, that was how it was in Missouri. Well, more like it snowed one day, and then melted the next day. Where do you live again by the way? (I thought it was Texas?) And I understand about the UPS thing. I thought they only had one driver, who drove, and dropped stuff at places. I guess I was wrong. But at least, I learned something new! ^^

Thanks for the well wishes! As for the job search, I am hoping to get a job at a library. The idea at working at one sounds like a lot of fun indeed! :3

As for the Persona series, I only ever played 3. I also own Persona 4, and I wish I could get 5, it does seem pretty interesting. I like the cat character a lot! ^^

As for the games you mentioned, I have never played them. By the way, Xenoverse, is that part of the "Xeno" series? Like Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade Chronicles? (Though none of them are related.)
  5. Wish I could get snow from time to time, but the best I ever had was small amounts falling down that melt on contact. Also, I'm not driving the truck but tag along with a driver and he goes to the places and gives me the package to drop off at the house.

Glad things are getting better for you. I remember the neighbors being a nuisance so here's hoping they turn out well, and hope the job search turns something up soon for you. (Anything you are hoping for in particular?) As for Persona 3 been a while since I played that one. In the near future I'm thinking of playing all the Persona games again leading up to the release of Persona 5 in April. Though it's hard to get motivated to do the first one because that particular game has aged poorly. Lately though I've been playing Xenoverse 2, Bloodborne, Meatboy, and a few other games off and on.
  6. As for me, life is going well. Been going to group therapy (Currently, three days a week, from 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM), which has helped a lot on my issues. And in between, I have been looking for a new job, cleaning up the house, and listing stuff on Ebay for my roommate. Entertainment wise, I mostly been playing Persona 3: FES, with a little bit of Maple Story from time to time.

Oh, and updating you on the thing with the neighbors. Long story, short, they got evicted in September. Expecting new neighbors soon enough. My roommate met them, but I did not. Though they still not moved in. So, hopefully, they will be nice neighbors compared to the last ones! ^^
  7. Ah, okay. That's good you have some kind of job to make up for the downtime. Hopefully, you are enjoying being an UPS driver as well! :3

As for weather, I enjoy whatever type I get. Though, I am excited about snow! So, I can't wait for that! ^^ (Had some snow a few weeks ago, and it was nice, but it was only for short bit. AKA it did not stick to the ground.)
  8. I've been doing well, thanks for asking. Offshore work is down for the season, but to fill in the gap I'm currently helping deliver packages for UPS as a Driver Helper, and finished my first week. These cool temperatures make it nice and while I felt sore after the first few days I pushed through the week and got used to it. Besides that just been relaxing and enjoying the small things in life.

How have things been for you?
  9. Hi there! How have you been? It has been a while since we chatted, so I hope things are going well for you.
  10. Oh, cool! That does sound like a fun job, indeed! :3
