BTW, it was this video that immediately sucked me in while I was recovering from Deadman Wonderland: The Series starts with the first season, Bakemonogatari, with 15 episodes. Season 2 is Nisemonogatari, with 11 episodes. Season 2 1/2 is Nekomonogatari, a four parter that just came out last week, set in-between the upcoming Kizumonogatari movie and bakemonogatari. I have a very good feeling you'll get hooked to this. When I did, it cured my summer depression and made me quit anime critiquing due to it's flawlessness IMO. Watch the first two/three episodes of Bake, and tell me how it was. If you're hooked, let the beasts inside you flow out and devour the remaining episodes like cheesecake!! We need more fans of this show like you, alrighty?
It's the 'IMPERIAL STAPLE' project of SHAFT, my favorite Anime Production team. It's a Harem Anime with such excellent animation, storytelling, jokes and relationships that it makes Haruhi Suzumiya look like shit. Bakemonogatari centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjōgahara, who never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi's arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. Glorious shenanigans occur, Koyomi is assaulted by a stapler, gets 9-minute stationary underwear fanservice the next episode, and fixes Hitagi's oddity problem with the help of Meme Oshino, who cured Koyomi of most of his vampirism. Also glorious dialogue from Chiwa Saito. That sort of stuff. I'm gonna split this into three parts, BTW. Walls of text, amirite?
