I was very into Arabic dubbed anime when I was a kid(I watched them on tv and rented/bought vhs) compiling the list based on memory helped a lot. Doraemon, KAIKETSU ZORRO, JUNGLE BOOK: SHONEN MOWGLI, Chibi Maruko-chan, Chibi Maruko-chan, DRAGON QUEST Dai no Daibôken and Ikkyusan were also very popular.

Btw Captain tsubasa was so popular that when the NES game of it came out everybody who owned a famicon(if I named it correctly, we reffed to it as Family in the middle east) bought it, later there was an arabic translated version of game released (not sure if officialy or not).

Hi, thank you for your interest the anime culture runs very deep in the Arab world. They use a very formal language in dubbing so it works also as an educational material for the younger kids, very useful for grammar and vocabulary.

At some point Arabic anime dubbs were more available than the english ones, we had more series dubbed.
We also have many very old animes that haven't been dubbed to english yet.
