We also have a black friday, but, nowadays, it became a "black mouth".

Yes, we do have that, not as big or flashy as some of the houses I saw when I was in the US, but yeah, lots of lights making lots of shapes, especially in malls and important places.

Well, we (mostly) don't have snow, so, Christmas here is a religious party/family party, most families has a "nativity scene" in their houses, we watch reruns of religious movies on TVs and meet distant parents. Overall, is a holiday where families gather and celebrate the birth of Jesus. But, new year eve, is another thing, we have wacky traditions like, wear white clothes and jump 7 waves in the beaches.

Well, at first, I didn't want to celebrate it because of my mother not being here this year, but my father convinced me to partake in a small celebration, just he and me.
