Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

You are also confusing normal with positive.
Normal just means that it happens enough to be a known fact. School shootings in the US are now normal but certainly not positive.

    And I never claimed...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

You are confusing normal with common.
Red headed people are not common (depending where you live) but it is a normal occurrence. You probably know one.

Mineta has a normal but not common...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

You've either met very few teenage boys, never were in a confort zone with them or simply forgot those interactions.

Mineta is a bit over the top, Horikoshi is clearly making him a comic relief so...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Funnily enough, while digesting the chapter I though it would be a nice character development for Mineta to manage to get a girlfriend and tone it down because he now understood personal relations...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

After this chapter I must say, Mineta is one of the most realistic teenage boys ever despicted in fiction.
Dude needs to calm down a bit.

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

    Good answer.

I like the aspect of choosing words/setences carefully when translating.
Over here we don't get dubs unless it's something aimed at kids, like most shonen anime and cartoons, so...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

    I'm really into Vigillantes too.

But I think it's a bit of comparing different flavors.
MHA is at it's core a classical/typical shounen (the protagonist will be the best, expanding world, huge...

But he never tried to rob anyone nor does he see himself as a supervillain.

He's the gentle criminal, he's a vigilante l Robin Hood- doing actions labbeled as crimes but in order to help the...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Why bother with anything then? Screw those suckers helping old people and children cross the street too.

Selling food that is past it's expiration date is a public health hazard and a shady...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

I didn't get that feeling from his flashback, he looked motivated and enthusiastic so I don't think he was just playing video-games instead of practicing or something like that.

    It's possible he...

Thoughest fight doesn't mean Gentle was the strongest enemy.
It means he was the hardest one to fight against.

Deku knew his internet videos, he knew he was mostly harmless/not a violent or...

Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Iirc, Blue Jeanist was the number 3 hero, so i'd guess he's now number 2.
