  1. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

Glad High End is dead. Too powerful a villain, I can't even begin to imagine how we'll be dealing with power-scaling in the future if characters like him become mainstay. One-off last thing All for...
  2. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

    Movie spoilers
So apparently Kirishima and Bakugou share a room while they're on holiday, then wear matching suits at some sort of fancy evening event. They then both leave the event early together....
  3. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

Apparently the MHA movie features (very minor spoilers) a LOT of everyone's favourite ship. You know the oneBakuShima
  4. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

You call this a shitstorm? Seems more like normal (if somewhat heated) discussion to me...
  5. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

I'm just sitting here reading this utterly mind-numbing discussion, hoping Horikoshi actually keeps developing Mina, Ochako, Asui, Yaoyorozu and the girl of the golden trio at some point in the...
  6. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

I full on cried about 4 times through that. Wonderful
  7. Re: My Hero Academia II - Harvey Birdman, Hero at Law

Goddamn today's chapter was good. Goddamn. Both One Piece and MHA setting up some major exciting developments going forward. Can't wait to see Endevour fight!
  8. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Dameda koitsu, hayaku nantoka shinai to...
  9. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Forgive me for not “proving you wrong”, but it’s such a dumb argument that self-evidently wrong that I have no interest in plowing through the series to find every bakugoucentric plotpointing vs...
  10. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Lol at someone actually thinking Bakugou is less relevant than iida. That's just funny.
  11. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Anyone else think the reporters were right on the mark in saying that Mt. Lady and Kamui are dating? They always appear together, very plausible. And imagine their kiddos!!! Giant tree people! And...
  12. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

I highly doubt the proportion of MHA readers that also read Vigilantes is particularly high. @CCC maybe you can correct me on this?
  13. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Stain got placed fairly low, that just goes to show japanese readers have bad taste
  14. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

    +

Yeah, it was Levy alright (and the other two in her group). Crucifixion style pinning to a tree, heavy bruising, and mark of the other guild on her stomach. Savage really.
  15. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

You're right, I was totally off. Went to the wiki, and it turns out that before they dated, she was *tortured* and *branded* by Gajeel. Wtf Mashima, you redeemed a guy who tortured people, and then...
  16. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

    Re: BakugouxKirishima.

It's all a fanfiction ship. I'm not saying it can't happen, but it certainly isn't in the story as of yet. Bakugou and Kirishima, by all accounts, are currently good (best?)...
  17. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

To be fair, both Bakugou and Sasuke are initially 'borderline' good guys with a lot of bad guy traits, and then have the 'stolen by the villain and then subject of a rescue arc' thing happen to them....
  18. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

I have faith he'll turn the gag upside-down by having Mineta be the reasonable one telling people (Kaminari most likely) to stop being lewd, only to have people get angry at him for hypocrisy, after...
  19. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Surely the story suggests a redemption arc for mineta... It'd be very depressing to introduce the character as flawed and have him remain flawed despite it being a school-based manga about growing...
  20. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Is it wrong to ship Mineta x La Brava?

They look like they're made for eachother. :ninja:

Feeling a bit meh about this chapter, the white backgrounds in a lot of the panels stuck out to me....
  21. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

First off, I think you make great points and I agree in many parts. That said... I think I fault Horikoshi less for the handling of the internship arc's female characters because... I just think he...
  22. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Yeah but that's because she's the traitor lol. You can't give her a heartwarming backstory and a shining moment... because her whole thing is not standing out and eventually being the one that...
  23. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Seconded. Besides, I’m sure we’ll get an arc focusing on individual members of the girl’s group eventually - kinda like what we got with Kirishima. Yaoyorozu, Froppy and Uraraka especially need that...
  24. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

Yah... that's dumb on Jump's part. Was gonna make a Togashi 2.0 joke, but if it happened in two different manga on the same week, and authors were only given 9 days for 2 chapters, I can't really...
  25. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

It's good, it's not better than MHA. Reminds me of the Ratman manga, both in quality and in plot structure etc.
  26. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

    Still doesn't work.

    https://twitter.com/CDCubed/status/991722397257601025 - correct link

EDIT: lol MDM's right, didn't even realise that was possible :wassat: Anyway the link in this post also...
  27. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

He could be filming dead people in the suicide forest, and cracking up that "lol he's dead haha"
  28. Re: My Hero Academia II - A Horikoshi series that actually made it to a second thread

I'm struggling to understand what Horoikoshi wanted to achieve with Gentle and La Brava, other than have them be quirky villain side characters. Also,to throw them in during the school festival, with...
