I think at that part, he still had his shadow. He probably got it taken a few years later, then he met the Strawhats...he was adrift for 50 years.

It was because he didn't have his shadow. It was explained somehow...like, if you don't cast a shadow, you can't live in the light and thus don't cast a reflection either...something like that.

It's because of his shadow being taken. Remember a few episodes ago when the maid girl gets her shadow back and freaks out when she sees her reflection? That's why.

If I were to die, that would be the best way to go in my opinion. With my friends playing a song that makes me happy no matter what.

I anticipated this episode to be well done, when the chapter first was release. Finally seeing the final performance made me feel incredibly sad. If they don't do this song in Jump Fest I would be be surprised.
