Do you guys think Ace is dumb? He should have known that he couldn't win against Akainu. I thought Ace would be smarter than acting on sheer rage like Luffy.

Given his DF and how the flashbacks portrayed him he isn't that much smarter than Luffy when it comes to acting on emotion.

Besides in this situation he did take the punch protecting Luffy so all that anger form Akainu's words went away and he was just desperate to save his brother.

Luffy would have done the same , its not about being dumb hes was protecting his brother like Zik said, you should hide in a hole after saying such a retarded comment, i would give my life for a brother maybe you are a single child or something and cant understand that lol, anyway fucking dumb you are sir Aka666

thats very tru id give my life for a brother id even give it for a few friends but i think he's talking about falling for his taunts.. his sacrifice for luffy was no doubt noble but he's over reaction to some yo daddy comments kinda got on my nerves

He's probably referring to the fact that Ace got butt hurt when Akainu was obviously trying to taunt him as a means to get him to stop running to the ship. Ace is an idiot for falling for that. I'm pretty sure no one faults him for dying for his brother. We fault him for getting into the position where he had to die for his brother.
