I hate to say this, but you should try out some how to draw manga books. I usually don't reccomend this, b ut you don't seem to understand the shapes and basics. You are improving, but gradually. Use a one piece comic or a manga comic of your choice to help you if you dont feel like buying the book.
I ahve had a How to draw mang abook for 4 years.. Vol.1 compiling characters..but it does not help
this is the book I have
http://www.amazon.com/How-Draw-Manga...0819663&sr=8-1
and in Barnes and noble.. no manga drawing books.. just manga and character files

You could use another sheet of paper to draw strait lines as you would with a ruler.

Eh, you're serious? It didn't help you? Strange.. it helped me alot.
Ermm.. I do have a book about drawing realistic heads, and if you change some stuff such as eye size you'll be able to create your own style -kinda.
It's in Hebrew though.. so you'll need to follow the drawings, but if there are hard-to-understand parts I can translate..
Interested? =O
I'll try to start drawing everyday again......
This is a drawing of a another character I am working on...right now its a rough draft of a drawing and not sure but notice something on him seems wrong(besides the hand)[spoiler]

well I tried a new approach to drawing bodies.. by trying a step by step guide.. not sure how it will turn out...I'll i know is drawing this took me 1-2 hours and was very stressful to draw. for some reason.. nothing that is supposed to look good is not ocming out right
oh..well.. as ususal for the last 3-4 pics..opinions are welcome and appreciated![]()
another thing i am hating is how the pencil smears against a drawing i am finished with and ruins the drawing(using mech.pencil,BTW)![]()

Julie's tutorials are awesome for the beginner or the intermediate. I only linked to the hair tutorial but there's a link to the tutorial main page on there as well. Keep in mind that there's gonna be a lot of reading. If you really want to improve, how much you read and understand the tutorial is going to factor in. It's one thing to just copy the tutorial pictures, but to understand what they are trying to show you is another.
http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/index.htm
Polykarbon is another great tutorial place that covers most of the basics as well as a few handy photoshop techniques.

Farp is pretty much the only tutorial center I frequently turn to these days. It's an excellent place to turn to if you've found a certain media you want to explore but as far as I know, they have tutorials for the basics too. Again be prepared for lots of reading.
One last thing...do you have a scanner? It'll be much easier to see your works if you do.
