I understand where your coming from. I have no idea how Oda would explain how Zoro and Luffy detected more then one person in him, if that is even the case. I think its actually pretty dumb.

But the fact that the scene had the readers pay such close attention to it, I can't just write it off anymore. For years I just couldn't accept Luffy and Zoro just refering to Teach's crew. It has no relevance what so ever in the story, I mean there is no reason at all for that ambiguous dilogue between the Straw Hats. Oda has a tendancy to be extremely CLEAR on what the characters talk about, why would he ever make such a fus about Nami wondering who his crew is?

I think the reason why people weren't discussing it then was because there was no reason to disect it, since it was seemingly obvious. Or in most cases, we all just probably read a really bad translation and just assumed someone messed it up, and cared not to look into it like many other spots in out scanlations.

The way I feel is that even if BB has multiple bodies that point in the manga has nothing to do with it and was definitely not foreshadowing.

Not to burst your bubble but black holes have the power to absorb everything by gigantic gravitation. Also light (he could for instance bend it). BB can BTW attrackt Devil fruit users by using his vortex. The only problem for BB is that there is probably some kind of limit as to how far his vortex reaches which makes his fruit quite useless against long distance fighters

Forutnately for BB he has two big assisting assets for overcoming that obstacle of long range fighters. 1. The Gura Gura no mi. 2. The black hole power, which should be able to absorb any long range attax, even light based attacks. And in this case, and in RL Darkness>light.

Just like Lava>fire it's on an entirely different class of power to the light abilities, it's be able to utterly crush it, even without the ability to nullify all other powers, it is perfectly designed for crushing light.
