Claymore anime is pretty accurate to the manga up until the seige of the north. Then it just makes up a BS ending.

I really liked the anime but ended up dropping off the series entire sometime after the Teresa flashback, and never got to the scenes after that.
With the sudden appearance of "RAKI GAR" I jumped back into the series starting from that chapter (yes I am a sucker for Gar; check the signature) and just finished reading most of the series for the first time. I tend to jump around a lot, but I don't feel troubled with that because it's like going back in time and seeing how everything worked out to form the present. For some inexplicable reason, I am addicted to Claymore right now and I don't know when I'll purge.
Although, reading about how the anime ended, I must agree it seems like bollocks. :O
I always see the ending for myself heh. Although when I'm finished the anime I might work out the correlation between where the anime leaves the manga, then pick up at that point in the manga. I know the chapters are long (in comparison to my usual up to 20 pagers) but there's only 99 of them so far which is easy for someone like me who is used to epics.
Nope, Raison D'etre and Danzai no Hana all the way through... unless Funi left another song out, which I doubt. I really like both songs.
I got them (and most all my other anime music MP3s) here:

I think you need to register, but it's free.
It's amazing that this series could easily still be in its infancy with the main continent and all.
"Don't believe in yourself, believe in me who believes in you."
I would normally agree with you, but someone (robby?) said there's a definite end in sight, and I can't imagine a story about Clare and Raki extending their star crossed romance into the greater conflict of the continent. It's not their fight.
I TOTALLY AGREE that I would love for this manga to keep going at this pace forever, it's almost like watching the stars come up every night sort of comfort, but I have a bad feeling it'll be open ended after concluding the Clare x Raki story.
Considering the ending to angel densetsu, i'd say that was likely.
Wow I need to read that, it seems majorly interesting.
That said, most Japanese endings end like that unless everyone dies. Even among the rare non-open endings, it's rare to find one that doesn't outright suck.
Angel Densetsu is awesome. It's a slice of life shonen that I actually like more than Claymore. And I prefer battle manga.
Yeah same. It had me literally lol'ing, something that rarely happens while reading manga.
What? :( Damn. I was pretty excited for it to keep going, since there's a lot of potential for epic.

Sorry Elric I have been a bit occupied with a uni essay in the past few days so my reply has been slow. I meant if I have read a manga I might watch the anime as a shortcut to catch up with the manga.
Seeing that one episode is enough time to read a whole manga volume I find your use of the word shortcut rather peculiar.
Doubt it. Norihiro seems to me to be a pretty precise perfectionist. His first series Angel Densetsu ended kinda abruptly even though it was pretty popular and had more potential in it to be even more awesome. But he wanted it to stop for whatever reason and it stopped. Makes me think he planned eighty (monthly) chapters and that's it. A shame, Angel Densetsu was awesome:(
