Funny how Moria is now the big time loser when he has only lose to Luffy (Without any fair 1 on 1 match) and Kaidou (A Mother F**** Yonkou) yeah, he got punched by Jimbei (and shown completely fine chapters after) and fight Curiel (In a battle that just as many others in this war archive nothing) Moria owns and can be owned just as any other shichibukai around (Ask failhawk or Jozu's favorite sand punching bag)

But yeah, i wish to see the old kickass jawed Moria that trust in his abilities, but if after his own arc he's still the same character, then he will provably remain the same for the rest of the manga, i'm really looking forward his flashback with Kaidou, as he is the only villian till date with a "reason to turn bad" revealed.

You're right, it is pretty unfair that moria and his 500+ soldiers fought the SH's + Brook.

Moria should rename himself into Glassjaw L. Moria. Maybe with many luck he could beat Axe-Hand Morgan but no other one piece characters they are all to strong for Glassjaw.

You're right, it is pretty unfair that moria and his 500+ soldiers fought the SH's + Brook + Rolling Pirates who knew the weaknesses of his DF + 100 shadows that allowed Luffy to become more powerful than Oars.

Moria seems to be less of a fighter and more like a manipulator. He's pretty strong, but his main strength lies in the applications of his DF, not physical combat. If not for the Rolling Pirates learning his weaknesses, the SH's would have been crushed and their strength would be added to Moria's army.

Too bad he did not send those forest losers out and lost because of them. They would have been smart enough to stay in shadow on their own-I doubt they wanted to die, and Moria would have had his legion intact. But he had not payed attention to crucial details and failed.

Moria's just to weak to be a real troublesome he needs to use deadbodies to create his fighting force no deadbodies and he has to solo a fight . He is just to lazy and stupid to take on any high level foe . His devil fruit maybe strong but it can used against him or nullified easily. Moria is only as strong as the options he is presented he needs to prep time to hurt somebody.

So Moria has been stripped of his title because he was deemed too weak. That only leaves 4 warlords left. Really the only one of the current who's status is in question is Hancock. During the war she did enough to keep her title and I don't think the WG sees her as weak (Sengoku even said she was strong) so I'm going to say that she'll keep her title.

With the new events between Moria and Doflamingo I can't help but think Oda is looking forward to the new shichibukai he has in store to fill the empty spots.

I really don't care for the theory that Doflamingo's mission is to kill the rest of the shichibukai (except Kuma) or that he's being tricked and after he takes everyone out he'll be taken out. The WG's disappointment in shichibukai performance starts and ends with Moria imo and he probably aint gonna die anyway. I figure Croc will intervene.

Hancock will keep her title and fade away back to doing w/e she was doing before she was introduced in the manga. Another rescue arc would be lame now and that's what Hancock not having her title will lead to. I figure the way she talked about as long as she has her title they'll be safe is Oda pointing to her finding some way to keep her title.

If Moria does in fact die, then it will in fact bring good to the One Piece world since there won't be any others who will be forced to live shadowless existences. When Moria went in Shadow Asgard form in Thriller Bark and lost to Luffy, he lost all his shadows and then Jinbei was shown purifying shadows during the war. The war proved that he was going to rebuild his zombie army which when you think about it, offsets what Luffy did in Thriller Bark. Usually when he defeats an opponent, their dreams are crushed (Arlong imprisoned, Crocodile not caring about Arabasta anymore, Enel fleeing to the moon, etc.), but when you think about it, Luffy didn't crush Moria's dreams since he was going to back and try to redo what Luffy messed up. If Moria does die, then what Luffy inadvertadly did is not offset and no one else will have to live a shadowless existence.

And isn't that why Oda doesn't usually kill people, because destroying their dreams is a better punishment? No dream destruction (just a setback for Moria), therefore he can be slated to die.

Still don't get why the WG is so cruel. Really he isn't THAT weak. And in times of havoc like now each ally would be great for the WG. But now they are killing him as they tried with Cp9.

I really hopes he survives and we will see him fighting against the WG in the future.

And btw. Even thinking that he will die is more touching than Ace's death. Just because Moria was a funny and unique characters and always good for the Lulz

some thoughts on the shicihbukai

if there are still going to be seven, they are at least going to have to refill 2 slots (teach + jinbei) but probably four (teach + jinbei + hancock + moria).

I would enjoy to see Don Krieg/Gin as a candidate.

Not only that. moria got a lot more personality than Ace. And in all was more unique.

That's why I said. Let him being rescued by one of the Supernovas or let him flee. He will stay in the shadows and one day he will come back in bad-ass shape.

We never saw him at his peek cuz he was so lazy.

To the WG, it'd be better for them if Moria, who has already lost to Luffy, were to die as a casualty of the war than against another pirate. To lose against another pirate would potentially ruin the Shichibukai image (and remember that the WG is all about maintaining images). It'd also be better for them if he died as opposed to being an enemy of theirs again.
