Technically, yes, but we'll never see that much progression with buggy's ability.

Plus. He has a certain limit to how far he can move his body parts away from one another.

Yes... true... but it would be cool though... he would give the illusion of disappearing in plain sight... hehe.... SCATTER TRICK... XD

Upon becoming a flying pool of flesh, why should his ankles or even foot bones be bound to the ground? I daresay the distance limit would be broken by complications at that point.

Just a place-holder until I find a more interesting picture.

Has Oda mentioned about the DF being plantable or the opposite?.... I mean if someone plants it wouldn't they know the type of tree that it comes from? ... They can actually make a lot of profit with it... XD

But then they could only sell one of the fruits, since only one person can have the power of a certain fruit at once...

That's happens to be because each Devil Fruit is one of a kind. So no, even if Devil Trees can be grown as Lucky Lou implied, then each tree would only bear the very same fruit from which it came, and only one per-tree.

Just a place-holder until I find a more interesting picture.

OH... Hmmm Imagine if the world government has these trees like a plantation...wouldn't the admirals DF powers be replaceable. Vegapunk can harvest as many samples as he can...what do you think?

The problem is that we have people like Robin, Kizaru, and various other logia's that can theoretically fly as well, with each of them having a constraint of sorts. I wouldn't say any logia's can "fly", but that they can travel from one location to the next via their Devil's Fruit. Essentially they break their body down into their element, stretch their body via their element to their destination, and then reconstruct their body at the other end. This is not flying, so to speak, but rather connecting their body to two different locations and then traveling to the other end through the air. The primary difference being that it is (presumably) short range, consists of two specific points, and does not allow free control in the air (read: defying gravity). I would see it as something akin to jumping, being essentiallyno different than Luffy doing his Gomu Gomu no Rocket to launch himself through the air from one location to the next. Then you have Robin who, while having the ability to make functional wings, lacks the physical strength to maintain the form that allows her flight. Theoretically she could fly if she trained and became as strong as someone like, say, Zoro. Due to this, I would THINK Pell was referring to Zoan's specifically. That, or these are "rule-breaking" abilities, that don't quite fall into the category that Pell was referring to. Then again, was Pell's line definite? I mean, did he say something absolute or did he use a word like "recorded", meaning a specific amount currently known. Not that it would change much.
If the definition is 100% of the body 100% of the time, Buggy is the person who comes closest without quite getting there. That's probably about right. I agree that what we've seen logias do is more akin to "jumping" and I'll put soru or geppou in the same class.

Pell's exact line was: The "Toritori Fruit", Model "Falcon". One of the only five types of "flying powers" ever discovered ... http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/169/17/

We've seen so many variations on the cow fruit now, I have a hard time imagining there's less than 5 bird fruit models. I'd like to believe he was just referring to the toritori fruit by context. I have nothing solid to go on, though.

I think pell meant that he had 1 of the 5 that were already discovered so there may be more out there

A chicken once flew for 13 seconds.

Why? Dodos are extinct. That's puts whoever it is on the same level as Drake...kinda.

No, not kinda. Drake weighs several tons, has the most powerful jaws in the world, and will make most other animals shit their metaphorical pants.

Dodo birds were killed when humans realized how pathetic they were and showed mercy.

Just a place-holder until I find a more interesting picture.

Does anyone know what the latest character popularity chart was? Does anyone have a picture?

No, she flew for 5 seconds. She is more pathetic than a chicken when it comes to flying. But she's hot as hell so it don't matter.

I think the others are Model: Hawk, Eagle, Vulture, and Swan.

Wasn't it said somewhere there are only 4 bird/flying Zoans in One Piece? SBS, or maybe Pell said it.

No, they died because foreign animals killed them and ate their eggs. Humans just brought the invasive species over.

Humans did try to eat them, only to find them disgusting to eat, i.e. their meat tasted awful. They were also notoriously unresponsive toward humans, weapons, and other animals. Basically, it was farking stupid. (Dodo comes from the Portuguese word for "fool")

On the note of Tori Tori, model Ostrich would be very good actually. Ostriches run fast and they run far (64km/h for over 30 minutes), and they have a top speed of 104km/h or 76mph. If you thought the Cheetah fruit kicks ass, it's got nothing on the ostrich over long distances. (Cheetahs run fast--0 to 110km/h in 3s w/ top speed 120km/h--but they only can do that for 460m.) That's why Carue and his family have ostrich legs. (I think the duck face is just so they look cute)

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the Kaze Kaze user flies fast and over long distances.
