Life is nothing more than game that you can only play once.
Oh!Great is smoking some weird stuff these last months. Everything makes even less sense than before.
He spent fifteen years getting loaded | Fifteen years 'till his liver exploded | Now what's Bob gonna do now that he can't drink? |
My brother got real big into Air Gear around this time last year. I liked the anime (shitty ending though), but I don't read the comics (too much fanservice anyway). I don't really read any manga aside from One Piece anyway >.>
I also must say, the character art and the music is positively bitchin', though. Chain is quite possibly one of the best songs I ever heard (and I usually hate Japanese music).
198 just got released by Sora Scans.
you can get an rss of the latest chapters there: http://www.mangashare.com/manga/Air-Gear/
Also the anime sucked. It deviated from the original storyline too much.
I recommend: Destroy & Revolution, God of High School, Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, Magi, Noblesse, Onepunch-Man and Sun-Ken Rock
Meh didnt get this chapter at all...but i usually dont get them until they explain stuff like 5 chapter later
199 is out too. Should clarify the situation a bit.
I recommend: Destroy & Revolution, God of High School, Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, Magi, Noblesse, Onepunch-Man and Sun-Ken Rock
seen the chapter and its cool, like how kazu stood at the end. but how come ikki knew where kazu was, he's really watching out for'em.
gotto say i like the manga and the anime as well but it didn't end well and ofcourse his artwork or drawing is good
the artwork is good, i think that they need to make it more clear as to whats going on though. Like in OP the panels explain stuff going on, in AG its kinda hard to tell sometimes. But in fight scenes it does pretty good
It's merely coincidence that Ikki's part time job is the same place Kazu ended up.
Without meaning to pressurise you. your post intrigued me to no end. if it's not too much trouble could you grab a [similar if possible] scan/page from each manga and show me how you feel Oda makes better use of the space to explain himself.
I'm not trying to challenge you or be aggressive i'm just excitedly curious about this as i've never thought about it that way despite feeling that while AG is my favourite manga right now, Oda is a better writer.
I recommend: Destroy & Revolution, God of High School, Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, Magi, Noblesse, Onepunch-Man and Sun-Ken Rock
I read the first 6 or so volumes of this a long time ago, seemed quite boring.
Check the last ten or so chapters and see if you feel the same way.
I recommend: Destroy & Revolution, God of High School, Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, Magi, Noblesse, Onepunch-Man and Sun-Ken Rock
Errr... why would randomly skipping so much make me feel better about the series?
[Guessing] Because things get a bit more tense and interesting later on.
Well, Christ. 6 volumes should be enough to get to that.
Well you do have a plot point in which a character who was originally believed to be a good guy reveals his true nature and the fact that he has a twin brother who's unbelievably powerful I wouldn't say you could get that in six volumes, for Air Gear anyway.
The story telling of Air Gear is very confusing. After reading half the chapters i don't understand what happened so I got to read what happened on wikipedia.
