Super NES vs Genesis/Mega Drive: Clash of Titans - Your Thoughts

I always liked the Genesis versions, they seemed to be and probably were faster. X-Men 2 was twenty times the game that SNES X-Men game was.

There was that (not in every case, of course) and Sega Channel.

I think even Aladdin was different for Genesis and SNES.

Yes. Though my mind is a bit fuzzy on the Genesis version, I do remember there being a dungeon stage in there that wasn't on the SNES version.

Yeah Aladdin was very different.

While the Genesis version was a balls to the wall tough as nails platformer, I went through the SNES version in an afternoon. The Genesis really won out on that one. It also looked kickass on the Genesis. They used actual Disney models.

Both had great games, really, but SNES was had the most memorable titles that I can still play today and enjoy. Even though it suffered from being designed to appeal to a younger generation.

Funny though.

While it seems the SNES era lasted FOREVER, we're now on the third system AFTER SNES. That's kinda creepy.

I think Capcom made the SNES Aladdin. Another company made the Genesis version.

Ah yes. Virgin Interactive was actually delivering GOOD Disney games back in the day.

No idea how Capcom managed to make such a crappy port of Aladdin. Speeeaking of which...

SNES Aladdin fuckin sucked

You fling apples or jump on your opponent to defeat them in the SNES ver., in the Genesis you had a sword, though while a common weapon, beats flinging apples (even though u can STILL do that in the Genesis ver. lol) and gave it an even more action feel.
I also liked the lifebar in the Genesis ver.. Oddly enough I don't remember ever beating the Genesis ver. of the game....

I always liked to play on Genesis. I had some great time enjoying with titles like Ghosbusters, Streets of Rage 2, Chakan and the first Sonic games.

SNES... I don't know what to say. I just tried it through the emulators/ROMS era, but I didn't play many titles in it. However, I liked Super Mario World and Bart's Nightmare.

I bought Genesis first and it gave me some fun times, but... all in all Snes was a much better system.
Damn, i remember the time where i'd play to the end pretty much every rpg on the system, even the horrible Secret of the Stars, a Breath of Fire 2 ripoff.

The other day I stumbled upon a Genesis ROM of a Justice League game, at first I thought it was an action adventure game beat'em up style, but when I played it turned out to be a crappy SFII rip-off....and Wonder Woman looks faggoty as hell.

That FF6 commercial was freaking hilarious BTW. XD

I wanted to rent that game when I was like 10, and then I saw that Aquaman was playable.

I never got to play it, but it did come before Breath of Fire 2 (in Japan anyway). I think they came out around the same time in North America, but I'm not sure about other places.
