Looking at the titles, these 4 episodes are covering 6 manga chapters (475-480). Maybe 481 too, but i guess not.

Nightmare Moria is defeated and we get ready for the Kuma fight. Nightmare Moria should be defeated in 376 and Kuma should appear in front of the SHs in 377

This is just me speculating of course. If they choose to keep making each episode equal 1 and 1/2 chapters, everything will happen sooner.

Anyway...I think the break was needed!
1- 376 & 377 is two of the most anticipated episodes in the history of One Piece.
2-They need to make the animation look great, plus 376 supervisor had a great episode which is 360.
3-Rushing two important episodes is gonna be retarded!
4-Hopefully we get Movie Quality for 377 aka Inoue Episode!
5-The manga was getting close...since they suddenly started going 2 chapters per episode!

I hope 374, 375, and 376 all cover 2 chapters. It seems to me though that 376 will probably cover just 1 chapter, possibly 375 as well. They will stop doing 2 chapters eventually.

Yes, a break was needed. They need to build up the very important episodes. Since the 1,5/2 Chapter episodes style, i am very sure we get a filler arc after TB, maybe 10-12 Eps to get the distance between anime and manga back

what i hope is that we have, like, 50 episodes of fillers after thriller bark. there is plenty of room for that and that would reduce probabilities of part-fillers episodes in shabaondy island. these 4-5 minutes of random fillers we saw here and there during thriller bark completely ruined it.

Wait, you actually want a year's worth of fillers? True, that would increase the gap between the manga and the anime to the point where we could actually get the same pace we had back when the show started, (2/3 chapters per episode) but still... Who'd want to sit through a year's worth of fillers?

He is. 90 percent of the time when there was a little bit of filler in TB it blended with the story really nicely, the other 10 percent was sorta uncalled for, but usually it was pretty enjoyable.

Yeah I agree with that. Those horrible 4-5 fillers a large batch of episodes had were simply uncreative, unfunny and uninteresting. They didn't not add any additional entertainment but struck the entire time as what they were material to fill the time = boring fillers. Bring on a year of fillers if we then get unharmed canon. But of course that's not going to happen. :(

Most likely they are just never gonna be happy no matter what.

The only part I thought was gay in all of thriller bark was the filler of nami, and usopp running while being chased in perona's garden. That was the only part i hated and thought was a waste of time.
