Other than that, it was a good episode with some great moments but I was really expecting it to be a great episode.

Oh and was anyone else monumentally pissed at how they censored Mike's note to the DEA? Jesus fucking Christ, that was fucking stupid. Talk about effectively ruining a great scene. Takes you completely out of the story. This is a series where people (including children) are murdered, dissolved in acid and flushed down the toilet and they can't even say the word "fuck"? They've even said the word once in a previous episode. Just so stupid.
    Spoiler:
Killing the kid resulted in this episode. It's why Jesse and Mike want out, and it'll lead to the [probable trouble] of next episode. This Declan guy seems like he'll be trouble, and they would never have met him had it not been for that kid's death.

Now, on the emotional level, you have to look at who you're dealing with. After Jesse shared his feelings with Walt, Walt whistled. He's a monster and probably would have shot the kid if Todd hadn't been so quick. Mike doesn't show his emotions. Todd, well that guy is exhibiting some serial killer-esque qualities. Jesse, I'm not sure what else he could have done. Him pulling out is probably that emotion. He's stopped working with Walt before, but he was always going to continue on his own, but this time he pulled out of the business. For good.

With the kid "missing," his relevance is far from over. His death is what will bring about the fall of Empire Heisenberg.

I thought jesse handled it the way he should've handled it. A lot of guilt, a lot of crying, but at this point not doing something too crazy, just having enough and trying to walk away. Still i don't think that kid will be the end of Walt. Once people go into one of those barrels they tend to disappear from the plot forever.
I love you, but you don't know what you're talking about.

    Spoiler:

    - I heavily agree with Thousand Lion-chan on the censoring of the word "fuck." It shows that there is something SEVERELY wrong with the FCC when they can show...child death...but not a big meanie word that mean people use.

    - That scene with Jesse at Walt & Skyler's house was just uuuugh. I love the guy, I really do. Get out of this shit man! I have never so badly wanted you out of there! You're so close to breaking good!

    - Although I've started to see no redeeming qualities in Walt, I have to admit I smiled when he hacked through the restrictions Mike put on him with a little ol' early Breaking Bad on-the-fly science. That was cute, really enjoyed it.

    - Saul dancing around Hank conversationally is one of the most amusing "little" things in this series IMO. They're the socialites of the show, and it's really fun to see Saul dance circles around Hank. Probably my favorite interactions of the series.

    - I love how the actor for Todd just clearly shows he hardly felt any remorse, if any at all, for killing that kid. Yeah, he's saying the words, but you can see the sociopath expressions he has lying beneath them.

The FCC doesn't regulate AMC. Notice how they say "shit" uncensored? The writing will be uncensored on the home release anyway, didn't bother me too much (same goes with South Park).

So I finally started watching this on Netflix. Damn, this show is good.

Just finished the first season, and I've loved every bit of it. The story may be a little slow at times, but other than that it's pretty much perfect. The acting, in particular, is phenomenal and I don't think a single person on the show has given a less-than-good performance.

Can't wait to see what happens in the following seasons.

The seasons get better, with Season 4 probably being my favorite so far. Although Season 3 comes pretty darn close, especially with it's 3 final episodes.

    Spoiler:
    Great episode.

It's getting even darker. The circus/clown-theme music is starting to reappear. It's a very disturbing piece, and was used when Mike was being sought after by the police in the park. It's the exact music I would use for that situation. No way out. You thought you were free. Then... you get a call. They show up. Just when you think you've lost them, more show up from behind you. The circumstances are almost so bad that it's almost... funny. Thus the music that resembles a circus. In my opinion that's what it means, anyway.

Goodbye, you eternal badass, you. I was initially afraid of you. Then I learned to empathize with you, saw glimpses of you caring for your family. Then I started to realize it's all you had. RIP.

I'm sounding like a broken record now, but I didn't see that coming.

    Spoiler:
An experienced ex-cop who got his way out of every situation whenever things got south, and he almost got out of the meth business for good. Only to get done in by a meth cook (although not just any meth cook). I'm gonna miss the guy, that's for sure.

And his final words were very fitting for his character.

Without Mike, things are really going to turn sour.

I saw it coming. I guess I caught a whiff of it early.
    Spoiler:
There were too many flags waving this episode for it not to happen.

And when I realized that it'd be Walt picking up the bag, I knew he'd take the gun, and that'd be it.

"Wow, everyone dies in this movie huh?"
    RIP Mike, you magnificent bastard.

Didn't think it would happen for most of the episode, but I had some thoughts once I saw Walt looking at the gun, but didn't think he would actually go through with it.

    Spoiler:
I figured he'd seen enough deaths, especially after Jesse asked him how many more people were going to die because of them, and Walt replied that no one else would be dying from now on (ya that turned out pretty golden, Walt…). I should've known better, seeing as Walt will go as far as poisoning a kid to get what he wants.

    Spoiler:
I got it spoiled for me. That Mike would die. So the whole episode I was trying to figure out how. I knew Walter could do it but I think seeing him doing that as a cold and calculated move might have been too much of a leap for me and i didn't see the episode going in that direction so that possibility seemed out. Until Mikes situation gets more and more desperate. But even in that type of desperate situation Mike isn't much of a threat to Walters business in a way that killing him would solve. The guys in prison are the real problem. So I didn't see it coming until the end fight scene. Which was great. Then I could understand how Walt could do something like that. So I guess I didn't see it coming till the very end and I knew it was coming.

What a fitting in for a guy like Mike. So back alley. His granddaughter will never see the money. He won't leave anything behind. No one even knows where he is and he's wated by the police. Someone like him doesn't deserve any other kind of ending.

Gonna really miss that guy T_T

    Spoiler:
Walt is irredeemable in my eyes now. Yes, it's been that way for most for a while now but I was clinging on to the last string of hope. Not anymore though.

I figured that Mike was gonna bite it by the first ten minutes of this episode. His character was done right down to him being replaced as a distributor. And if he didn't die, there wasn't anything else the writers could do with him and he would have left the country anyway. Yeah, he was gonna die. It still fucking sucks to see him go though T_T RIP Mike, you incredible badass you.

One nit-pick. Do banks really just sell out their clients and let the DEA just walk into their vaults without so much as a warrant? Are they not private companies with reputations to maintain? That bit was a bit hard for me to swallow.

Just got around to watching it.

    Spoiler:
That was a fine mid-season finale. I loved the progress we got towards the end.

Crystal Blue Persuasion, hahaha. Great montages. Loved the contrast of how Walt just had those 9 people killed then he's right in the room with his kid in happy colors afterwards.

.......It was so incredibly weird to see them talking normally. The heavy blanket cast over them all was lifted. Just... normal conversation. Some of us take it for granted.

Now watch it all come tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down~

    Not mine.

The ending was EXACTLY what I wanted. It was perfect in every sense. I was afraid they would have Walt fall before he achieved what he could or that he might just fall because of negligence as a kingpin. However I love how he made it and was successful then got off on top, but the tiniest mistake got him. Not the murder of 9 people, the innocent poem of one man. Now instead of falling off the on his way to insanity his secure perch, his home and family, that he safely landed on will crash into the depths.

new episode was great. ending was predictable, but is sure to bring some crazy events, so I'm excited
