can anyone tell me the background or anything related to donquixote doflamingo (sp?) (i.e. past bounties, relations, powers etc)
Well ron, Not a whole lot has been said about Donquixote. We do know that he ate a DF fruit that allows him to possibly control users bodies at his whim. We do not know what the name of that fruit is yet, or If he even ate a Devil fruit. We DO know that he was the former captain of the Bellamy pirates, but quit to become a Shichibukai. It was then seen that Bellamy took over as captain and created a whole new image for the crew, by putting a "No" sign over the former logo of the crew. I know that I've seen a bounty but I forget, So that's all that I can sum up for you about Donquixote.

On a side note I would just like to say that it has never been evidently proven that he quit to be Bellamy´s captain. It can just be assumed. Don´t want to start another discussion about it here just wanted to clear that up.
Other then that, this New Pirate Era Bellamy and his crew are talking about at Jaya seems to be Doflamingo´s idea because after the Skypiea arc is over we see Doflamingo at Jaya lecturing everyone there by using Bellamy and Sarquiss as an example and shouting that everyone should prepare for the New Pirate Age that´s about to come.

Ok, there's Lucky Roux the fat guy, who killed one of the mountain bandits. Ben Beckman, the tall guy with the black hair in a pony tail, then there's Yasopp & finally the crew's new recruit, Rockstar, the guy who delivered a message to Whitebeard.
