Well, I can't read japanese so got any suggestons on anything else that will catch me up with speed on knowing franky?

u dont have to know japanese, u can dl chapters scanlated by the NULL group, they scanlate chapters of one piece and i think they are just 1 or 2 chapters behind the current one, u can download them and read them (franky is included there already for quite some time)

ummmmmm whos the guy in skypiea who fixed the ship. do they name him or is it just a klaburterman(sp)

I answered this question a couple of pages back, But I'd be glad to answer it again. The mysterious figure that fixed the ship in skypiea is called "Klabauuterman". Klabautermann is the spirit of ships that are damaged, and the spirit is the re-incarnated version of it. It is usually dressed in a raincoat, carrying a hammer. We find out about this when Usopp drags the ship to Franky's hideout, the old "Tom's Workers" building, and Franky tells him about it, being a former shipwight himself.

lol why dont u read where u are currently in, then u proceed along the way, franky will come during water 7 so read along, i dont want u to be skipping stuff and miss alot of nice things

I agree with ron_8. I never understood the skipping a chapter attitude. You only understand One Piece´s greatness if actually look at the whole picture. It´s just as a mosaic.

I totally agree, you cant just skip a few chapters in a manga and expect to know hwats going on.... maybe during a filler arc in the anime but definately not the manga.

what exactly is the &#39;ohara incident&#39;? i know it&#39;s everything but revealed yet in its true entity, but what are people referring to, when they talk about that?
i know it has something to do with robin and she sinking those marine ships, but is there more to it than that? as far as is known?

I think you know everything that has been revealed. I don&#39;t know who they are and I read everything about them in the manga.
