To his credit Kishimoto doesn't seem like he'll end the manga without an actual conclusion like Shaman King or rush through like Black Cat.

I say it's better to leave thing as they are (unfinished) then push the story out the front door which leaves us with some bullshit climax that comes too quick, leaving a bunch of things unclarified,unfinished, or unexplored*.

* Might be used as contradiction later on in Naruto's case.

The pacing was very slow this chapter.

Zetsu can record things. Is anybody else in love with Tobi? " I will rest and looking forward to viewing it later"...lol. Tobi is one of the bright spots of part 2.

I am still confused tho. Wasnt Zetsu debating with himself if Tobi should be let in? But now, he is taking orders from him?

As for Zetsu, three scenarios are likely:

1. Hinata vs. Zetsu: Two people, probably two chakra flows. Gentle Fist style would be perfect.

2. Shino vs. Zetsu: Plants vs. Bugs. Who wins?

3. Yamato vs. Zetsu: Wood Jutsu vs. Plant Jutsu.

Don't expect that much from Kishi, though.He's given up on the series.

With two out of those three, why not just "Team 8 vs. Zetsu"? All three of them have proven themselves of not even needing Kurenai due to their teamwork and I could see them in a non-hacked fight against him in an ultimate battle of scouts.

Otherwise, the only real good thing about this chapter is that we may finally know once and for all who Tobi/Madara is next week...though I doubt it if he doesn't take off the sock over his head.

Kurenai was never really that resourceful unlike Gai,Asuma, & Kakashi
she hasn't had one badass moment to her name unlike the other three.

I don't want to see water jutsu's either. I want to see that fight to see if kishi can even pull off a decent sword battle.
