Did you mix Superboy-Prime with Superman-Prime? I think they're talking about the good Superman-Prime that lived in the sun for a thousand years.

Also, if you go the the "Alternate Versions of Superman" Page, which lists them all, and search for "Superman-Prime", Superboy-Prime is the only one that comes up.
So, the Superman-Prime you're thinking of must be called something different.

I wasn't aware Superboy-Prime changed his name, haven't been keeping track in a while. I'm most familiar with the Superman-Prime who lived in the sun and wore a Green Lantern ring.

DC has so many alternate Universes and alternate heroes it's hard to keep track, but that Superman-Prime is an offshoot one that only seems to have appeared in the one Elseworlds story, whereas The one I'm talking about is in the Mainstream-Continuity XP
