Anyway... Hi everybody!

I've been watching those forums for months now, but I only decided to register recently. (I should have done it ages ago, but... Oh well. XD)
I know my username is shitty BUT it's the one I've had ever since I started going on the internet and I never cared about finding one more original (oh, and the "Dark" part has nothing to do with me being gothic or something, it's just how those stupid french dubbers translated "Darth" in Star Wars. (Why yes, I'm a Star Wars fan since I'm 6. So what. XD) "No" is just the two first letters of my real name. XD). You can give me whatever nickname you want (IF you want), my friends IRL call me "No" but it doesn't sound so good in english.

So... I'm a 17 years old french One Piece fangirl (not the squealing type though), a series I discovered about a year ago (a friend told me it was awesome. I can't thank him enough, because well... he was right.) I became fan immediatly... unlike many people I know, I just love the artstyle. The story is awesome as well, but it's often the art that make some people hate OP. I... seriously don't know why.
I read up to the latest chapter/saw the latest episode. I'm not afraid of spoilers, but I don't read/watch a chapter/an episode until it's translated.

I love drawing (my greatest passion). But I tend to draw too much fanart. XD I draw a lot of One Piece-related stuff, but also Baten Kaitos (about as much as OP... I'm such a fangirl),The Legend of Zelda and Star Wars (not too much those days though). I do have my OCs but I have yet to start drawing the comic I'm working on. *is lazy AND busy*

I also love videogames, although nowadays I don't have much time to play. Baten Kaitos (the first one and Origins) being my favourite game of all times (not sure anyone knows about it, it's quite underplayed -the second one didn't even come out in Europe, had to import it-). Others series I like include The Legend of Zelda, Phoenix Wright (I only played the first two games though -Trials and Tribulations never made it to Europe, and even though I imported it it has to arrive here first *damn slow mail services*- and I'll buy Apollo Justice after I finish T&T ), Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, The Sims, Pokemon (yes, I know, you can shoot me now. But the game ARE good, if you skip all the "love your pokemanz and they'll luff you too" part)... I'd say "Tales of" but I only played Symphonia and Phantasia (and I didn't finish the latter). But I like RPGs in general.
Oh, and I imported One Piece: Unlimited Adventure along with T&T. Because if it ever comes out in Europe, it'll be in months/years. And if it's with french voices, it'll make the 4Kids dub sound great. *shivers* I'd rather have the japanese version because of the voices, but then I wouldn't understand a thing. So... US version here I come! XD

And you probably noticed by now, but I like to make long-ass introduction topics that no one will ever read
So... To make it short, I hope I enjoy my stay here. XD and please excuse any english mistake, as I stated English isn't my mother tongue. (I know it's the same for many other people here anyway)

Welcome! I just came here recently, too. BTW, there's a new french dub with better voices (in the anime section,) so you don't have to worry about cruddy voices. Ironic that it's sort of like the US dub situation.

Oh, yes, I saw there was a new french dub (the first one was... no, I won't make any comment). I saw the first episode. Not bad, not bad. Good to see we can have decent dubs sometimes.
I just wonder if they'll use french voices in the french version of UA. They'd have to find dub actors for characters such as Robin, Franky... way before they're in the episodes. Mmmm. Maybe they'll just take random dubbers and change in the anime. That wouldn't be the first time.

It's been much too long since I've picked up a pencil to draw. It's good to see people being enthusiastic about drawing.

You have awesome taste. I'm finishing T&T myself and will be working on AJ right after. Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, and Pokemon, and the Tales of games are a great time. I imported OPUA when it came out as well, but was unable to play it thanks to the region lock. I ended up having the JP and EN copies brand new in front of me for a while. Last weekend was the first time I cracked open the EN case.

I've always loved to draw, as a matter of fact I'd like do to it as a job. Now "all" I have to do is enter an art school.

Region locks... I wonder what they exist for, seriously. Good thing there's the freeloader now. I just hope there won't be an update that'll prevent it from working. I don't risk much since my Wii isn't connected to the internet (the wifi usb key won't work...) but sometimes game updates do that kind of stuff. I got mad when I realized the update in Super Mario Galaxy prevented the gamecube freeloader to work on the Wii. I'd have hated the game for it, if it weren't that good. <.<'
Anyway... I hope I get UA soon, I played it a bit at the Japan Expo last year (french japan/anime/manga expo) and I enjoyed it very much, even though I didn't get a thing. XD
