Not only video games were inspired to but many manga out today are types of Jojo tributes. For instance, the popular shojo team CLAMP (X/1999, Cardcaptor Sakura, xxxHOLiC) has drawn Jotaro w/ Star Platinum in the background of a bunch of their pictures.

I have heard of this, but do you mean in their actual series, or just in stand ( no pun intended) alone pictures?

They've been walking in crowd scenes in some of their manga and in the stand alone pics both.

Don't worry about Joseph getting enough action in series 3 Cap'n Carter, he kicks ass in the later volumes. My favorite fight was when he fought with Nena and then had that little gnome thing grow out of his arm because of her stands power and then when he and Jotaro fought with Dio at the end.

Yeah, the spine bends thing and the skimpy clothes that the Ultamite Lifeforms did kinda weirded me out too. I think that Araki (much like Togashi Yoshihiro) though he isn't gay, does a lot of gay and yaoi resembling aspects in his mangas, sometimes drawing some of the toughest charachters in compromising poses and costumes (Also much like Togashi, who has Drawn Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara in Yu Yu in a kinda Bishonen style before) This can be evidenced by some of the pics with charachters lips being bright colored and such. He even did a yaoi type one shot not to long after the Jolyne Kujo Story was done (right before SBR came out)In mid-2003, after the end of JoJo Part 6, Araki did a brief one shot story for ULTRA JUMP magazine set in America, in San Jose's Winchester Mystery House. I haven't seen anything but a single ad for this series and I'm not sure of the details, but since the poster was advertised as an "okama pin-up", it may have involved gay or cross-dressing characters.

Well, I'm reading Card Captor Sakura again then.....

Maybe because he lands on his butt? I hate how Viz edits the series to make it more like the 4Kids series. Also they changed "Akuma Chojins" and "Akuma Knights" to Evil Chojins and Evil Knights. And what&#39;s wrong with Red Rain of Berlin?&#33;

But I digress...

I finished part 3 last night and am currently on part 4. They&#39;re both great, but one thing I didn&#39;t like about part 3 is how almost all of Dio&#39;s subordinates ended up begging for their lives after they lost. But its no big deal.

Jotaro is the man :P . Though Josef and Josuke are cool too.

Part IV started slooooow for me. The brothers were cool and all, but I really didn&#39;t like Koichi, who basically splits the spotlight with Josuke. It also got slow in the middle with that Janken kid, the homeless guy, and that.....guy who shape shifts his body.

Part 4 didn&#39;t really get good until after the first two volumes for me, afterwards it kicked ass&#33;

Check out this gag strip I found made about Jojo. This is funny as hell. It goes along with series 5 charchters Bruno Buccaiarti and Guido Mista and his stand Sex Pistols. It&#39;s in japanese but it&#39;s mostly visual comedy. If you know anything about Guido&#39;s stand than the pictures alone should make tyou get the joke. I cracked up when I seen it.

As for part 4, i agree it started slow but you have to admit it ended with a bang

i loved the last battle er... all the killer queen battles. what sucked was that he got run over at the very end... was a big let down.

I think the main villain saved the series. Josuke and Jotaro are great, but a lot of the enemies sucked.

That strip is cool. Though, it&#39;s not really in Japanese, the only things really said are "pass," "come on," and "hai."

Has anyone else got the art book set, "Jojo a Go Go&#33;". I have it an it has some of the most killer artwork done by Araki that I&#39;ve ever seen.

i just checked and that book is rather expensive, (at least on the japanese amazon) 6800 yen or 62 bucks but it looks worth it. Im jeolous, :(

yeah... the price was kind of steep for me too. i think i was in high school when it came out. i did collect all 7 of the complete dragon ball books though when they came out (1st printing). they were like &#036;45 each and came out every other month... drained my piggy bank...

I was able to find it for &#036;30 at my local comic shop (Jojo a Go Go&#33; that is). I can always rely on the guys at page 3 to have awesome and rare anime stuff for cheaper thn it is on the internet.

it was probably cheap cause it was on the shelf for a while... that price might be cheaper than wholesale.

It probobly was. It would&#39;nt have been because of quality though because it was still sealed in the plastic in pristine condition. A damn wise purchase if I do say so myself. Am I the only person who thinks that the fashion Araki puts on his charchters is extremly cool looking (On some of the charachters...not all just some)
