God, I hate that movie and any other of those typical hipster trash flicks that are supposed to be funny, but don't create any laughs (of course, it's ironic humor, but I obviously don't get that) and only seem targeted towards pretentious high-brow reviewers. Though I don't consider Juno a film like that. It had a lot of heart and had some genuinely fun ("quirky") writing without trying to be pretentious.

How can it have a heart when no-one in that movie remotely resembles human beings? Or is that what I'm not getting- you're supposed to laugh because it's a bizarro world where people are nothing like real life?
I'm sorry, I just have a fiery dislike of that movie. I was expecting a great comedy, and it just left me feeling miserable.

Anyway, the Brad and Friends summer movie reviews are hit and miss- if the movie is awful enough his friends can pull through (like Smurfs), but it's pretty clear who the professional critic is. Maybe I'm just impatient, but their stuttering and fumbling for words quickly gets on my nerves, which is a shame considering theres some nuggets of good rants in there.

Well, granted they are just doing unscripted vlogs. Maybe it's because I'm not always totally paying attention, but I think they do a pretty good job. By comparison, CR recently did a vlog on the new Thundercats that was pretty bad even by vlog standards. He stuttered and paused a lot and it took him forever to get to the point of what he was saying.

I thought it was funny. So long as that plump one with the glasses isn't the one ranting it's entertaining at least.

Oh, I liked the Smurf one, because their pain was amusing. At least at first, before it became 10 minutes of them not remembering things.
The zookeeper, Poppers penguins and Cars 2 propably have them the most enraged/coherent, and are the most fun.

Edit: Dear god, "you me and everyone we know"...I am eternally grateful I have never seen that piece of - dammit, don't wanna think of that! I think that film could have made me murder someone.

In fact, Spoony has said he is a Tekken fan and self-proclaimed "Lord of Tekken". Check out his Street Fighter 2010 review for a bit more information.

It was a funny review, but the movie itself wasn't really all that bad IMO, just very boring and pointless. I'm looking forward to reviews of those live action fighter movies.

Actually, I saw the Tekken movie. I rented it from Blockbuster when I was a kid. I thought it was shit then, and I know it's shit now. I mean, they killed Anna and Lee. Anna died by a fucking T-Rex, Lee went fucking insane, and Yoshimitsu served no purpose but to stand there.

Nina was the only good thing about the move.
