Nostalgia Critic and Nostalgia Chick team up in a hilarious cross-over about gender roles. Also, there is boob flashing in it!
OH MY GOD! I adore that movie with every inch of my soul! I've got good watching tonight!
I bought the DVD version. The official soundtrack came with the movie. ^_^
The soundtrack actually as far more original and interesting songs. I mean, 'Girls of Rock n Roll' are honestly the best, but they have a pretty deep and emotional song called 'Off to See the World', which (I THINK) is an original song for the movie. It's the song that plays during the montage of them racing. If you listen to the lyrics, it's actually quite touching.
There's also "Diamond Dolls" which is actually a pretty awesome song. That, "Off to See the World", and "Girls of Rock n Roll" all made for a pretty damn good soundtrack to a pretty fun movie. Sure, the movie isn't intelligent in plot and rather insensitive to world cultures, but it manages to do what todays Chipmunk movies can't: Manage a movie that is actually fun for anyone to watch and sing music that doesn't offend the senses.
Don't know how many of you have been keeping up with Sage's Anime Abandon, but here's the season finale in which he reviews the beloved anime classic Akira.

Yeah, but the movie itself isn't very good either, so....
Yes, the animation is still beyond amazing (especially given its all hand done) and so is the music, bt the actual movie is pretty bleh. Cheesy dub is the only thing that makes it watchable.
The new dub and the japanese track take it all so... seriously.
Yeah, we who have been following him on twitter and streaming knew this for a while. He lost 7 pounds because of it at least.
Sage's review. You know, the thing that started this conversation.
