I wonder what the deal is. If I recall correctly, there was already a two or three week stretch scheduled without a new episode of Clone Wars after this Friday with the next new episode not showing up until the middle of March or so and now this.

Are they planning on some Friday movie marathons for a while for some reason?

Huh, the March Clone Wars episode is now listed at the end of the month and have the rest of the season airdates have been changed to TBA.

After a bit of thought, they've done this before with BatB so that's not entirely new. They're airing repeats of BatB during that stretch so it may have something to do with a production delay. Ben 10 Alien Force has new episodes listed throughout March with the series ending around April so this may be a way of stretching their schedule out so that they can air at least one new episode of each series until summer rolls around or until Ben 10 Evolution starts.

I'm not sure about total viewers, but:

Cartoon Network presented a new episode of its action-adventure series Batman: The Brave & The Bold (7:30 p.m.), which scored strong double-digit gains among kids and boys 2-11. Kids 2-11 delivery (1,096,000) and ratings (2.7) both increased by 29%, while boys 2-11 delivery (835,000) increased by 27% and ratings (4.0) by 25%.

That's for two weeks ago. At a guess, total viewers are probably somewhere around 1.5 to 1.7 million viewers. Johnny Test usually comes in around the latter with Ben 10 hitting around 2 million and Clone Wars between 2 and 2.5 million.

Well, there's The Gorilla Boss of Gotham City (who should take priority as an actual Silver Age Batman villain) and Mod Gorilla Boss from Animal Man along with a whole host of them from things like Showcase and Strange Adventures. This is due to the fact that DC's editors in the '60s believed that putting a gorilla on the cover would sell more comics. I think there was even a war comic that had Nazi Gorillas in it.

There's also Titano, but he's a chimp. On the other hand, it just says ape alliance so that's possible as well. If so, there are any number of characters.

Next season is the last season and they are working on a new Batman show after this.

The first DVD set (Season 1 Part 1) comes out August 17th.
