You'd care if it was edited like the 4kids dub (or worse), which if it got on a Disney channel, it would be.

For your information, I wouldn't. There were only three things that bothered me about 4Piece:

-Voices
-Music
-No Uncut

Even if OP were stripped to bare bones, these three things wouldn't be compromised.

The series won't go to Disney. So long as people only know One Piece for what it is, which would be the uncut version, then I'm cool. It's best to have a clean slate and pushing the uncut DVDs over an edited TV dub is best.

While I would LOVE an uncut run of One Piece on tv, the edited run returning to tv would still be great.

A tv run, no matter what you say, gives exposure. One Piece needs more exposure.

You'll still get your uncut DVDs, but a tv run can only help One Piece's situation here, even if it's an edited run. Which is why I'm so mad it doesn't have one.

Having both the uncut DVDs AND a tv run is best. That's the point.

I think Disney XD could be a possibility, I mean, I think the 4-Kids One Piece was on Jetix, right? It probably was in Spanish or something, I don't remember. Anyway, I don't really think One piece would fit on Disney, but it's still a possibilty, of course, it might have to have a later time slot as well.

The best cable chance for One Piece at this point is Nicktoons Channel. They're going more and more action oriented (with Skyland, Avatar reruns going constantly, and the new Iron Man animated series).

It's the only way outside of Cartoon Network that the show is going to pop back up on American TV.

One Piece going to another network may not even be a possibility, Cartoon Network probably signed a broadcasting contract and until it expires the series is only allowed on CN, and they may be dicks and keep that contract and not air the series until said contract terminates.

But if the rumor about Toei shopping around is true, I guess not.

I agree it could go on scifi. Now and then, has a strong shonen feel to it as well as Gurren. I really dont see a big difference in maturity between those shows and OP. If anything OP, as it goes on to arlong and beyond, is a little more mature. And defintely more violent.

Because they're not gonna put a show on a channel where it won't fit the the target audience. At least ECW gets on Sci-Fi Channel even though it's not sci-fi because it appeals to the adult male audience Sci-Fi Channel advertises to.

Its a kids show, regardless of what you think. The art and the fact that series has commercials with little kids are used to advertise them are proof enough. Though at least in Japan.
