Yeah they should melt or burn. But even if you want to talk physics, that would still be pointless. Igetownd responded on why we should not consider the melting or burning:

I short, we don't know the maximum voltage (if it has a maximum) Luffy's rubber can withstand.

However, all logia users that we've seen are not mentally frail. So unless you have the willpower rivaling a creator and destroyer of planets, I don't think beating the logia users introduced so far with spirit pressure is possible. Well, the exception is that one girl in the 2nd movie who turns into a liquid (it's not a canon example, I included it out of humor)
I think the guy is speaking about Haki. I don't know if Haki is connected with one's willpower or not, but I know for sure that it can play a significant role in defeating Logia users.

Well, sorry for my first response to you. I think I'm getting your point now. You're trying to say that Enel's electricity may not be totally negated or disabled by Luffy's rubber. I can't recall the episodes I watched so I'll have no opinion for the mean time. But even if you're correct, if there are some electricity leaking out of Enel when Luffy touches him, Luffy would still be immune to that. So it doesn't matter whether there's some left leaking out or there's none.

I guess the Perona/Moria-Combo works on logia-users. As well as other paramecias are overpowered against one special logia, like somebody who becomes an element (logia) faces a paramecia, who can "only" control this type of element. Or a rubberboy is immune to a lightning god, whatever.

But the chance that a logia will meet a real danger is near zero in my oppinion. Only a hundred guys in the OP-wold have the technology like a seastone or the right DF to counter a logia. Half of those are marines or pirates and the GL is quite big...
Truth is just one point of view out of billions...

what if we're looking at logias the wrong way: what if you're always the element your fruit turned you into unless you turn the power off to be human?

There might be some other topics to post this too but I think this is good enough too so...

I have been reading One Piece again starting from the beginning and I'm now on Alabasta arc and something came to my mind. Isn't it that people assume that logias can heal themselves when turning to their element and back? I was just wondering that why it looks like Croc has wounds on his face at the end of their third fight? Is it that even his own blood stops him to turn into sand and healing himself? Well, it would be logical to think that.

Edit: On the second thought this is probably a stupid question :D but put it in a different way I'm actually trying to find out how much damage logia users can heal? Does it leave some pain and fatique in them?

To my knowledge, there has been no evidence in the story to suggest that logias can heal themselves. They usual avoid damage by becoming their element when attacked.

Kizaru healed himself, he was blasted into multiple parts and then reformed.

Reconstruction and Regeneration are not the same. I personally look at it from the point of view that logia users are able to reconstruct themselves, but they do not regenerate or heal themselves in this process.

Kizaru lost multiple body parts and then reformed them, I'd say that constitutes as regeneration. Though I do get what you're saying.

You can heal yourself in Element form.. but for whatever reason you want to turn human (like getting some tail or something).. you are able to do that, but in that form any injuries sustained cannot be healed.
Most Logias probably have this turned on all the time, for safety reasons especially if they expect around violence.
Although if you are able to break the automatic flow of the element.. using water over sand.. or messing with conductivity of electricity ( Luffys Golden Rifle was basically the equivalent of holding someone by the scruff of the collar and cracking them one because the gold kept him in place and electricity cannot travel through rubber).
This way Aokiji would most likely have the same problem if he got hit by heat attacks like Sanji and Zoro do.
I dont know how you can exploit a weakness like that for Kizaru but Nightmare Luffy ironically might have been able to put him down.. or at least Doppelman, because shadow disrupts light.
Maybe Ussop will trap him in an impact dial and throw it into the ocean... ^_^

When has there ever been a human form version of a Logia user ever?

I was reading K-F forums and one pointed out interesting detail; Smoker has a new scar on his body. I wonder how that was made? Strange that I haven't seen anyone else never mention this even though it was some time ago that it appeared.

Cool. He has nice scar too.

It (Smokers scar) squashes nothing, since it was the first time we ever saw Smoker shirtless. It has most likely been under his coat the entire time. Like Crocodiles scar, the reason is propably that it was inflicted before they ate their devil fruits, and thus aren't Healed.
Like: If Buggys arm had been cut off years ago, his DF wouldn't suddenly negate that after he ate it.

when they eat or sleep 0.0 they are always in human form until they decide to activate their power

No it wasn't. The scar is new. Please everyone just use the search function. There is nothing new to say about this.

Sorry but that doesn't really confirm it's new, since there is the possibilty of Oda simply being careless or make an alteration to his design.

Look here, I don’t know in which chapter you can find this picture in the Manga, but you see him without a shirt before he get the scar. I hope a Google-translate link functions well.
