so Crow and Reversi got a lead color pagar or color page for their last chapter in WSJ or not? I mean, IIRC there is only 3 manga in the history of WSJ that got that honor. i can't remember the first one, 2nd Dragonball and the 3rd was Slam Dunk...

I'm really enjoying the moment where they show us those mangas' pages. Just like with the Classroom of Truth. I would even have liked to read more of it.
Now, I guess that is wouldn't be that interesting since we've been hinted on the plot all along ? *shrugs*

I already can't wait for their (Ohba/Obata's) next manga :)

The Reversi manga volumes reach 122,000 sales, outdoing Zombie Gun's 120,000. They officially beat Eiji, but then meet him again and he ays "Yeah, that's nice, but I'm going to reach 300 first." "Well we're going to get to 350!"

Then our two leads are depressed because, and this is what I *think* given the chapter title, I guess they realize their series ended short, and while good and "a masterpiece", they now have no momentum and Eiji is going to pull ahead with a long running series that has a volume every 3 months, while they spend the next, who knows how long, creating their next thing which may or may not be a hit.

And then Mashiro says something really touching to Kaya... and Miho talks to her mother.

Well, given how meta they've been, and how they ended Crow and Reversi... and all the quick cameo shots and how its all been building...

that probably means next week will be Bakuman's last. Bracing myself for that.

Great chapter! Definitely 1 or 2 more left. Maybe it'll just be an extra-long final chapter. Not as long as the final chapter of FMA (though I sincerely hope that in the distant future when OP ends, SJ gives Oda a good 100 pages to work with given all his hard work and success).

Alternate universe where Nartuo ended before its timeskip and OP wrapped up in 2008 before becoming what it became and Oda just does some sort of monthly project of some sort.

And where somehow, Death Note was a manga that everyone has read, and yet doesn't exist at the same time.

You know, I'm really glad that Mashiro made a point of thanking Kaya like that. Because, she's really done a shit ton of work, just cheering them on and cleaning and all these little things, and it's great that she was properly thanked.

So yeah, with the color page, next one might be the last? Cram the proposal and a few epilogue panels into one more chapter? I'm ready for it.

Awww, poor Fukuda~ Of course Yoshida an co's bit was cute and fun, as usual. And as expected, the moment with Kaya was really touching, heart warming.
Can't wait for the next chapter :)
