That's a very strong lineup, and 957 should be especially fun with Ishitani making a full director debut. For those who don't know/forgotten, she was behind the final episode of Dragon Ball Super and did a great job with it so it's exciting seeing her working on a much meatier show that's not a ball of fire behind the scenes.

If Ishitani adapts chapter 956 its gonna be awesome. Her sense of humour and visual comedic style from her oshiri tantei stuff + the sense of wonder and moments of intimate and spontaneous emotion she captured oh so well in jurassic and how she seemlessly transitioned from one scene to another with interesting shot compositions for a short film that featured so many places and characters...yeah its gonna be a match made in heaven.

Nice to see a Komaki storyboard, i thought 960 was the last we would see of her for a long time. Combine her storyboard with Tu Yong-ce as AD and some expected sakuga, 972 should be a great episode (my only worry is the pacing but considering Komaki likes expanding on the source material, it should fine). Ryosuke Tanaka has been getting some praise these days but i'm not that fond of him yet. Koyama's episode is also very promising.

Yeah i saw the tweet. I loved Thurlow's dragon Kaido in act 1 and im curious to see if he'll animate him again.

On one hand yeah but on the other animation comes (and should come) with challenges and finding creative ways to overcome them. Though yeah drawing dragon scales and a shit ton of metal parts every frame is something only a masochist woud ask for, that's true
