Another strong week of Anime & Manga. It was a mixed bag for Kankuro, he ripped it up in the anime & got his arse handed to him in ch.251.

It looks like the Sand is in some deep trouble. Gaara and Kankurou have been beaten and now only Temari is left.
Now, I'm curious as to what technique Jiraiya told Naruto not to use. Then, who were the two Akatsuki people talking about at the end of 251? Were they talking about Naruto or someone else with a demon sealed inside their body?
And still no other characters showing up, maybe they'll show up after the mission.
I assume the Akatsuki's mission is basically to capture those beings with demons sealed inside them. As such, Naruto is one of their targets. They weren't talking about him specifically, I think.
Also, when Jiraiya told Naruto that, two thoughts flashed through my head:
1. Man, this is a pretty cliched turn of events.
and
2. He's definitely going to use that jutsu.
I think they mean Temari was retired, and since Kankurou and Gaara have been defeated, they'll have to ask their sibling, Temari, to help the Sand... unless they have another sibling that we don't know of yet...
Haha, and not to worry, we'll definitely see Naruto's 'forbidden jutstu'
One of the reasons One Piece is better than Naruto (though I like both for different reasons) is that One Piece is so much less predictable.
Well, of course he is. But still what technique would that be? I'm still curious as to Naruto's new abilities. I mean he must know other techniques besides Kage Bunshin, Kuchiyose, and Rasengan.Originally posted by Mog@Mar 13 2005, 08:22 AM

Well, I was trying to indicate that there's basically no point in asking. You're definitely going to get to see them eventually, so just tide over. Me, I just don't really think techniques are anything to get excited about. I'm more looking forward to seeing Naruto whooping ass in general. I don't care about the techniques he uses in the process.
Especially if they're this blatantly foreshadowed.
Let's just hope it doesn't turn into another Chase Sasuke sequence, with every character saying ''I have no choice. I have to use THAT jutsu. Like, seriously. THAT one. Not the other one, like I said earlier. Oh no. There's also this one. And it's super duperly more awesome. And I could have used it earlier and won instantly.... And I suppose it would have been much better had I mentioned it earlier in the story, or even have hinted at it... But that doesn't matter right now. I will now have to use THAT jutsu. I just can't stress enough how badly I have to use it. Or else I might die.'' around every five minutes or so.
Hmmm... let's add things up a little here in regards to "that" "Jutsu."
1.) Jiraiya knows that Akatsuki is after the Kyuubi.
2.) Jiraiya knows that Akatsuki is involved here.
3.) Jiraiya likely knows about the new Kyuubi stuff Naruto pulled out against Sasuke.
I personally get the feeling that Jiraiya has forbidden Naruto from using the Kyuubi. FAir idea if you ask me; the more Naruto asks it for power the closer the Kyuubi comes to breaking free and running amok.

Good explanation, Himizujin_Eternia! Basically, that was what I was thinking as well, but I'm sort of hoping he learned something new that's really powerful, not only got more powerful with something he already knew.
Using the Kyuubi's power isn't exactly a jutsu... More an involuntary outburst of power in desperate situations. I'd guess the majority of Jiraiya's training focussed on Naruto being more in control of Kyuubi's power, seeing as how that's what's he's been trying to do ever since he met the guy. In that sense, I don't at all think Jiraiya's talking about using the Kyuubi. More likely some super duper dangerous technique he taught Naruto.
It's possible this technique involves using the Kyuubi's power, but other than that...
Oh, I'm certain he's learned something new and powerful; he's been training under freaking Jiraiya. I'm just thinking, Jiraiya is teaching him to protect him from Akatsuki. What Jiraiya DOESN'T want is Naruto overusing the power of the most dangerous beast known to man, partly because it may put his teammates at risk and partly because that may just be what Akatsuki wants.

I think it's a jutsu that will have so much power come out that the Kyuubi might come out, so it's dangerous.
I agree sorta with Jacobo. Using the Kyuubi on itself isn't a jutsu, and I highly doubt Jiraiya would warn Naruto about that.
I agree, though, that it could be a jutsu which employs the power of the Kyuubi to a dangerous extent.
But frankly, like I said, I see no point in discussing it this much.
Who are the old people in the new chapter?
No idea, but I guess they must be really important to the Sand village. Hopefully it's revealed what their role in all this is going to be. I mean the old lady's grandson is a member of Akatsuki.
I just got done reading the Inane scanlation and at the bottom of the last page it says "Reliable Reinforcements Appear...!" So I'm guessing more characters are going to be showing up in 253. Hopefully Neji and Lee or maybe Shino, ah hell I'll take anybody really.
Why are they always running through a god damn forest? Change of scenery please for the love of god!
EDIT: damn, I completely misread your question, Jacobo.. =__=;; .. gah, this post was useless.
@MB - they're running around a forest because they live in a hidden village. :P
Hmm, well they'll be in the Sand village soon enough. How's that?Originally posted by MB.@Mar 20 2005, 06:34 PM

Why do they always fly like that?
They're just jumping from tree to tree, they just never get shown standing on a tree branch. I guess it's faster that way than to walk, especially considering the current situation.
