lol, you call that being waaay less wordy, but I still think it's a wordy chapter. But if you think that, then it's a good sign that this project will succeed , right?

Things seems to go really fast on Gintama, just the 2nd chapter of the arc, and we already know Kintoki's "true form"... I hope Sadaharu finally be able to do something now!

This week episode is pretty good! A great play on Doraemon at the beginning and some touching stuff at the end...
But what's really gets me is Gintoki text Pa-
Chinko and Kyubei, Saigo, and Katsura replying to that... and Katsura was just spamming! Death Cancer not lasting 10 seconds also made me lol!

WOW, that was really a great chapter! I love how Sorachi manage to mix comedy and emotional scene and make it work.
Though, I doubt Tama died. It'll probably be like Otose during the Shitenou arc. And she was revived during her introduction arc.
But damn, Kintoki really does make a good villain! Being perfect natured and all. And now he wants everyone to hate and become enemy for Gintoki.

Oh and Gin-san ball crushing technique is epic as hell!

As always, splendid job, kewl0210. It's still quite unbelievable to have ongoing Gintama scanlate releases.

Oh, and there a slight typeset mistake on the last page, bottom left panel.

On the chapter itself, it was really great. For a comedy manga, Gintama does dynamic action and emotional melodrama better than many, many other, even serious, shonen counterparts. And it's superb comedy binds every other aspect together. Tama's scenes were quite good - and despite drawing a death scene, Sorachi can still joke, how damn great this man is? Sacchan's and Tsukki's dialogue was a highlight as well. However, nothing comes close to Gintoki's rage.

I watched the the anime episodes of the missing chapters, so I didn't mind reading this series.

Anime, yes. It is always there. Personally, I keep up with Gintama with both mediums.

However, right now the only gap in Gintama is the one between chapter 343 and 372 - which Hi Wa Mata Noboru are actively closing. Everything else can be downloaded from MangaTraders.

Last time I checked 77-85 and 136-171 are missing and have been for quite a while. It's the reason why I stopped reading at chapter 50.

The missing chapters were covered with scans of Viz editions which are quite nicely done. I doubt any online reader would upload those scans. Although, with Viz having dropped the series after volume 23, who knows.

Other sites have those missing chapters, but there are still couple of others missing( besides the gap between 343-372) but its not a lot.

I fixed that typo after like 20 minutes, apparently mangareader doesn't care. Just get the version on our site.
There are way better resources for reading manga than that site with their pages with reduced sizes and watermarks anyhow. Try mangatraders where you can actually download them.
I said this before, but although pretty much all the chapters have been scanlated, a lot were done with less than accurate translations back when nobody was checking Rufi's stuff.
So at some point I'd like to go back and do earlier volumes once we're caught up on the current ones. But obviously this series takes forever to do and I'm not rushing through them. At the very least, volumes 1-9 were all done in high quality already so we're not doing those.

I hope you like it, because even though I mostly watched the anime but I've found that I really love this series. I find it to be endlessly entertaining and endearing.

I'm really hoping that Hi Wa Mata Noboru will close the gap between the 343-375 so I can start reading again :D. I stopped cause I didn't want to spoil myself haha
