Adventure Time!

Hey there, well, recently there has been theorys going around of a show called "adventure time" (originally a Nicktoons Animated Short) to be created into a series on cartoonnetwork.

There's really not much to say about the show, other then it's about a young boy and his dog, and well, they go on adventures.

No one I've talked to understands how this show can work as a half-hour series, but really how why would they question it when there's only been one seven-minute pilot?
It's just something most people aren't used to.

Man, he Luffyed that zombie candy heart. I might keep track of this for a bit because there's something acid trippy and biting to the experience, which I love.

the voice cast is really nice, and it looks like it's a bit more action-oriented than
the rest of the cartoons on CN. the second part of the episode was a little meh.
i think the show does okay comedy and interesting action/adventure sequences. they should really not focus the show too heavily on comedy, because it fails to stand up to really funny shows like flapjack when it does.

comedy episodes: okay/meh adventure element stories: cool!

I love that while Adventure Time comes across as random and trippy, it does seem to have established elements that continue to show up ( Duke of Nuts, Finn sings with Auto-tune etc.) Tho I'm getting sick of the Boom Boom mountain ep.
