That new flash was really nice. It's times like these where my adventure game nerd worship finally pays its dues. I love all of the imagery surrounding this session, too. It's a stark contrast to the other sessions and really does fit the description of hope being dead from the beginning. The story is still ambiguous enough, though, to leave me to ponder the actual fate of the entire story as a whole based on the four characters it just introduced. I also love how each session introduced throughout Homestuck has been equally complex in its individual circumstances. I really can't wait to see how it all ties together and every prurient bit of story exposed leaves me further aroused to that idea.

Edit: The other day, some mysterious vigilante took to drawing HoNk HoNk in purple chalk over our campus for Homestuck day. I just thought it was a fellow student, but with time-travelling harlequins in play I just don't know anymore.

Roxy is funny in her intelligent stupidity. She is very smart and actually one of the more level-headed kids in the group, despite being a lecherous drunken 16 year old girl. In regards to Jane, Roxy just wants her to stop getting hung up over her own skepticism. That is what complicated their friendship (with all of the future shock) and it's at the center of her relationship problems (she's skeptical of her own ability to win Jake over). Roxy just wants her to be confident more than anything else and probably thought that if she lost out to Dirk, then it would be a crushing blow to her ego.

Also, I just realized how our indigo-blooded friend probably filled his jokerkind specibus with such colorful items. He probably robbed the remaining chests on the asteroids.

And now Homestuck is a point-and-click adventure. What genre will it explore next? RTS about carapace people sounds nice.

Liking the setting of post-scratch medium. Four Nobles and planets with the noble gases in their respetive names - I do fancy this kind of wordplay.

So it seems at some pont Gamzee ascends to godtier. If he hasn't already done so. Jokerkind strife specibus probably explains him having the troll time travel equipment. Every other detail, however... I really am looking forward to the roundabout explanation of him being already here.

And speaking of Roxy, she is great. It is quite handy to have a friend at hand always ready to pull you out of eternal ambiguous feelings limbo.

I love how the Hussie gave you the options of "No", and "Hell No". Makes it easy to believe that Jane is in fact a gutsy gumshoe.
Also I'm beginning to like Auto Responder more than Dirk, it's like Dirks little brother who try's way to hard to be just like him.

EDIT: Also, I'm fairly certain the turned off green lantern (*sniker*) represents the Dream Jake, not the actual one. The PesterLog was there to make us think otherwise and that he may be actually dead-dead. Misdirection, son!

Derp. Yes I meant Jane. I always fuck up when it comes to her and Jade's name for some unexplainable reason because the difference is only one letter I guess.
It's in the room in which you find the last skull. Check all the stone plates on the floor and you will read about how your wish becomes reality if you scribble it on a pot and it is lucky enough to float up to Skaia. First thing Jane thinks of is Jake. :´(

Also following your logic with the lanterns representing the dream selfs, Roxy's and Dirk's will bite the dust (if that written prophecy is true). That is sad news since I would have loved to see Roxy sleepwalk on John's face again in the near future.
