Well it could have been a silhouette of a forest and it would have worked fine. There's no light in the forest aside from the small amount brightness the moon gives off. Or or or MAYBE, some silhouettes of dead trees with mist since it's right next to a graveyard and all(and Halloween themed places usually being set during fall season). Oh god! I'm overthinking. But if you say I should not worry, I should not. More potential ideas for you.

Well, this is my first time watercoloring forests. xD It's not that great, I admit. Thanks for the critique. I didn't really want to overdo the detail on this, but I do agree I should've added some lanterns or something. I'm not sure why I didn't think of it before... lol
Don't worry about thinking too much. xD This is for advanced art, which is a college level class at school. I have to be as good as I get.

I entered this piece into an art competition and I went to it this morning at like 8am
And I just got the score back from my art teacher
AND I GOT A 4
That's the highest you can get in this competition

and the judges pick a certain number of pieces that got 4s and send them into the finals which go to like Washington or something to compete to win

I don't really want to go to finals but
I GOT A 4
I'M SO HAPPYYYY

From left to right:

Ryan Matthews is a football player during Jame’s time at Casper High, and he’s pretty nice. He doesn’t like bullying and he likes to help people. He’s not the brightest crayon in the box, but he has a kind heart and can be a complete romantic. Likes to do good on his tests and school because it makes him feel accomplished. He is one of the popular kids but he really couldn’t care about popularity.

Rae Hunt is a Native American girl who likes to go around and play in forests and loves to be near the earth. Her name means ‘earth’. She doesn’t really care about getting dirty and ruining her clothes, she just likes to play with trees, leaves, and the soil. She likes to call them her friends. Prefers to wear clothing that is green because it reminds her of the earth. Is a little anti-social and doesn’t have many friends at school.

Cheerie Moore is the ‘weird kid’ at Casper High. She finds ghosts to be boring and uninteresting, while, on the other hand, aliens completely fascinate her. If she had the choice to go to space or the Ghost Zone, she would choose space in a heartbeat. It’s a goal of hers to find aliens, or sentient beings from space. After all, ghosts were proven to exist, why not aliens? She loves all things syfi, but anything dealing with space, aliens, time travel, and the like are her favorites. She goes alien hunting every Saturday after she’s done her homework. Because of her fascination with aliens, she’s always prepared for the unexpected, so while Casper High thinks she’s weird, they do come to her for help if they need something. She’s also pretty wise beyond her years, and tries to give advice to help those who ask for it, but otherwise, spends her time occupied with her alien hunting/research.

Maggie Thompson just moved to Amity Park because her father's work. He works with ghost related weapons in a company that Maddie and Jack Fenton created to help the citizens of Amity Park protect themselves. While sneaking around in her father's work laboratory, she accidentally gave her self a shot of super-charged ectoplasm that made her half ghost. Maggie loves to spy on people, and loves to butt in on people's business. She's an investigator at heart, and treats everything as such; she doesn't care about emotional aspects of things. She just likes to solve puzzles. Most of Casper High hates her (she's the type who you either love or hate)--but it doesn't bother her. She's got a strong personality and she's has a lot confident in her self.

James Fenton is the son of Sam and Danny Fenton. He doesn't like attention, hates popularity, prefers to dress in darker clothes and would rather be alone. James is very blunt and sarcastic; he's not afraid to say something everyone is thinking. He'll also leave if he finds a place boring or dissatisfying. He's pretty smart, and he absolutely loves classical music. James also has a kind side despite his anti-social-ness; he'd save a guy from a burning building but he'd rather call the fire department if there was a cat stuck in a tree.

Maggie and James
Maggie and James are best friends. Maggie became friends with James because he wanted to be alone. So she did what she always did; butt into his business. She doesn't really think of James as cool or hansom or anything of the sort--he was just interesting. James finds her annoying as heck (especially when they first met), but she understands him better than anyone. James gets annoyed with her constant 'investigations' but helps out anyway.

Maggie's ghost powers are based off her need to investigate. She has super-hearing, and x-ray vision, along with all the usual ghost powers.

James's ghost powers are based on his love of music. He can create musical sounds to hypnotize his opponents, or to give them horrible headaches, or put them to sleep, etc. He also has all the standard ghost powers.

There really isn't anything I could use these guys for. I made them only (and I mean only, haha) to test my creativity. lol Do any of you DP fans (and even non-fans) out there like them?

First of all, I have to say how I like your selection of colors. They are bright and have this vintage look to it. Almost like the main cast of Scooby Doo. That said, I also like the verse you have created. From names of places, sects, and each character's individual lives, talents and hobbies. I'd really like to watch a show like this.

I can't help but adore Cheerie and Magigie. Thier colors are just... I gotta draw them *_* Cheerie especially. Since she like sci-fi and all that stuff I like.

Well... I can't really say that I created the world. xD; This is still the Danny Phantom world, and places like Amity Park and Casper High already exist within the show. However, I did create the ghost self-protection company that Maddie and Jack founded. As for the characters; I wanted to create a world where there characters were interesting. Like if this were a well done sequel to DP and these were the main characters. I'm glad I've accomplished that. c:

I tried to be varied when it came to colors. I didn't want to under do the colors, but I didn't want to over do them either, since each character in the series has a select set of colors in their pallet. (Sam-->purple, black, green; Danny-->red, white, blue; Tucker-->red, yellow, green; Paulina-->pink, blue, white; etc). I wanted all the characters to be unique and have a reason to dress in the colors they wore.

Cheerie and Maggie were the most fun to create. xD Cheeire loves ailens and wants to make contact, while Maggie loves investigating and solving puzzles. They're so different from each other--Cheerie is so nice and helpful while Maggie only helps to satisfy a rubix cube complex. Originally, I was gonna put more orange on Maggie, but she just didn't agree with me, lol. I can't wait to see your drawings~

Casper High is in need of a few nice popular football players. xD To be fair, Ryan isn't the most popular of the A-list people. I just wanted to create a nice popular guy that didn't have any ulterior motive. He's also not the smartest guy around, which is why doing good in school makes him happy. Sort of an "I did it! I did it! I did it!" thing.

Rae is a fun sort of girl. She prefers to relax in the forest most of the time, but when she's got her hyperactivity on and she's with her (small amount) of friends, she get's crazy. xD Being rational and calm most of the time does that to you.

No opinion on James? lol He's kind of a loner who loves classical music and helps people when he's seriously needed.

James? Hmm.. Well. He certainly seems like protagonist material. Can't really say much aside from that.

But really though. I like the cast as a whole. They flow really well with each other :)
Thanks for the additinal bio of the characters. I can tell you really have a passion for this sort of thing, and that makes me happy and more than honered to see them. Looking forward to see what else you've got up your sleeve.

I really like testing my creativity. Making ocs for different shows helps me come up with interesting and original characters instead of just Mary Sues. Doing this really makes me think about the character itself and who they are. It's great for getting the creative juices going. c: I'd recommend you to do the same, but you don't seem to have much problem when it comes to creativity, haha. But it's also fun to do in your spare time if you've nothing else to do~

It's really fun~ ;) That's the reason why I have so many fancharacters/ocs. I don't really have any use for them, but the process of creating them is just so much fun. <3

I was totally caught off guard. xD But these weird little coincidences with me and my friends keep happening this week. Like, yesterday me and my friend (in two different classes) got out a few minutes early and ended up walking into each other at the exact same time. And the same friend (while my other friend was about to give me ride) also ran into me at the end of the day while she was walking with her boyfriend. I dunno what it is, but it happens to me a lot.

But hey, we both got something out of this. ;)
