I think they're more likely to release them in the original Japanese format, maybe as an extra in a limited edition dvd set.

Yeah, I know the chances of it happening are slim, but a OP fan can dream. I only posted in hope that funi would see all the support for the idea and obtain the rights for the CD's.
Now that would be a great way to get people to buy those all or mostly filler sets we'll be seeing in the future. Funi, if your lurking these forums, please do this.
I asked Vic at one point (Via E-mail) if they recorded the full versions of the songs and if we'd see a CD release eventually. He forwarded my E-mail to Caitlin Glass since she knows more, and she told me they didn't have the rights to do so (since the Songs, sans "We Are!" aren't wholly owned by Toei) so they only ever recorded the short versions of the songs.
Now, as far as Future songs go... I'd REALLY Like to see them Fully dub Dear Friends for episode 312, that would be really nice XD
Nothing here for now.
I think thats likely since Funi has dubbed full versions of songs for episodes of specific series. For example at the end of YuYu Hakusho they dubbed the opening song Smile Bomb in full just for the credit sequence of the final episode.
Talking about songs I can't wait to hear family in episode 130!

It was the end of the Baroque works Saga and they were leaving Vivi behind, so it was a good moment for the song. We know it wasn't on the Japanese DVDs, so the only possible place it could have been was on the original broadcast, and when K-F got there they just re-created it with clips from episodes.
OR, it was never there to begin with, and K-F decided it would be nice to commemorate the end of the Baroque Works Saga with a nice montage video of the whole trip. So they made it themselves.
Since, I don't think anyone HAS the original broadcast Raw to that episode, and K-F never own up to these kinds of things, we may never know what the truth is. But the clip not being there on the Japanese Toei DVDs means it's possible that they haven't given FUNi any kind of Raw for that (even if it did exist at some point) so we may not see it.
Nothing here for now.
If it's not there, will the only other time we'll be able to get a clean rip of it is during the party at the end of Skypiea?
That, and if FUNi ever does the TV specials, it was the ending theme of one or two of them.
Also, when we get to Skypiea, FUNi does their 5.1 surround sound mixes, so someone who is good at music mixing will most likely be able to get a Clean Rip of it from the music channel.
Pretty sure TheGreatPirateKing will do it, he's good at that sort of thing.
Nothing here for now.
Probably a stupid question, but has any dub company ever dubbed the CDs available for series out there? I know in Japan there is usually at least a couple of CD releases per anime series. I'm just surprised that people expected FUNi to do this, because I've never heard of it happening at all.
I don't think it ever HAS happened.
The Ranma OVA songs got dubbbed, that MIGHT have gotten a CD Release, but I don't recall that actually happening. And even if it did, that would be like, One time out of the tons of Anime that did get dubbed songs...
Well, the Pokemon series got OSTs released, and those included the dubbed opening (I THINK they left the BGMs alone on that show too, but it's 4kids so you never know) and Dragon Ball Z got completely re-scored in the dub, and that got a CD release too, but it was ALL BGMs, and they were all 100% Original songs made by FUNi's Music guy, so they owned them outright.
Nothing here for now.
While I don't know about Ranma, I know that Tenchi Muyo recieved a dubbed CD release, which features alot of the dubbed songs used in the show, with the only major cut being the opening from Tenchi Universe since the original singer sung that. The Kingdom Hearts CD released included the dubbed opening theme released and the Germans... well pretty much got every song that was dubbed released on domestic CDs until 2007. I actually purchased one recently and it lists who they liscened it from. The Toei music (DBGT and One Piece) was lisenced through "FUJIPACIFIC MUSIC". Its possible that FUNimation doesn't know about this lisencing company and thus, won't release anything. It is worth noting the German CDs have rescored music but if going by that logic, why hasn't the first Conan OP/ED been released? The thing happened with the German versions.
Thanks for the input guys.
From whart I heard, Pokemon was half dub music and half original or something to that effect. It was pretty popular when I was younger, so it's no surprise that it had some sort of release like that. Going on the logic of popularity, maybe dub companies feel that the fans are not interested? Perhaps if someone emailed FUNi about this matter, we could get the ball rolling...
Oh, and I am really surprised FUNi actually dubbed something that they edited and rescored. Knowing how old DBZ is and all, I am curious as to how long FUNi has been releasing uncut anime.
FUNi's first uncut release was the Ginyu saga in 1998. It did have fake subtitles (dubtitles, I think) though. I think they brought in Simmons soon after though.
I did email Mike McFarland about this way back and he said it had something to do with the law. Considering FUNimation is picking so many rights to the series they get these days, such as merchandise, I don't see how at least the background music couldn't get a domestic release.
Actually to quote the fantastic Dragon Ball webiste 'Daizenshuu EX':
Minor swearing in the Japanese script is censored to words like "darn," and character names are in their English-dub forms (for example, "Krillin" and "Frieza"). These censorings are abandoned after these two discs; all other dialogue is translated accurately.
I think official dubbed character songs translated would be good if it were legally possible, but I pray that they won't have to resort to AutoTune or one of those programs if one of the cast members can't sing.
Nezumi song? That reminds me of this one parody of the "Mickey Mouse" song:
