Alas, none of the above four were, so I guess I'll go with...Morgan. He started Coby and Helmeppo's ascent to marine super stardom, as well as having a flashback with Kuro. He's the first opponent where we got so see Luffy's powers in full effect. Alvida, he just took a mace to the head and punched her once.

Also the lockjaw bit was pretty funny in the intro comic.

I'm late on this but Noland is how Funi romanizes it. It also makes more sense seeing as when he went looking for Jaya with the king there was no land .

I think it's damn strange that Norland is cleaning house here. I mean, he's a great character, but I don't think he's particularly above and beyond any of the others. I expected this tournament to be a widely distributed spread of apathetic 'eh, why not?' votes. It's weird that he's got such a passionate lead.
