Final Round: Luffy vs Zoro

But in the end, I had to go with the future Pirate King. Zoro would understand. ;)

That vs. AMV still makes me shiver...nice job Urouge! Excellent choice for including all the opponents they defeated to the final.

On the current match all I can say is they both deserve to be here and deserve to win, since they fought some really hard opponents on the way and prevailed, sometimes by a hair-width. Also, they are both awesome characters and they are the two most popular characters according to every SJ poll, so it's no surprise they made it this far.

Finally, to quote a lot of you from previous matches (just changing the names a bit):

VOTE ZORO...in order to make this match interesting. We all know Luffy's going to win this anyway!

Oh, I wasn't trying to say that Zoro was the only person he thought of -- I was just refuting the idea that someone had posed earlier: the one that Nami was the only person he thought of after his crew left. Local refuted the first two parts of that post, so I figured I'd do the last third.

Zoro just wants to be the strongest swordswoman in the world. Thanks to Ivankov, that dream can finally come true, and it'll be all good.
