Normally I wouldn't complain at all, but do we really need to link to these rips of the FUNimation stream? Yes, I realize we post fansub links here, but I think this is going a bit too far. I mean, we don't link to official DVD rips here and infact, I think it's against the rules to do so. So why are we allowed to link to ripped streams that are available to view for American consumption and if you just try hard enough, people outside of the US can also view these?

That itself is not a good enough reason. If you guys wish to view it, there are alternate means to view the episode without resorting to downloading it. Infact, I almost want to say go view fansubs rather than download rips fo the FUNimation stream.

To link the American files here is just as wrong as to link the Japanese ones. But you don't complain about the raws and Fansubs posted on here. Why? Are you hypocritical, and you don't really care for copyright holders after all? Be they called Funmation or Toei Animation. Do you just want One Piece, and you complain because you fear these threads could force Funimation to cancel your One Piece? Or are you racist, and you don't give a shit if the Japanese get offended but you do care if the Americans get?

here in APF we support funimation, and some of our members are even people who work for funi. therefore we don't allow the linking of episodes that are ripped directly from them. we don't want to get dragged into the legal shit, and we certainly don't want to get sued by funi, so don't ever EVER do this again, or we're banning you permanently.
