Skypiea from galleon to landing on blue sea took around 3 days, Alabasta from Laboon to galleon was close to a week, water 7 was 2 days if I recall correctly.

That's pretty much what I thought, I did'nt put it in the time line a few pages back though because I was trying to see if it made sense that it was all in one day.

No, during those arcs there was clearly bed time sun rises and timed appointments. You can't just make up your own assessment of time when the events follow each other so closely. There were no breaks for night time.

During the party Robin speaks to Neptune. Still light out.

    Caribou over hears this.

Shirohoshi goes to her room because she isnt used to drinking, Caribou is already there during the party while Jinbe explains the worlds situation... Wouldnt it have been better to go after her during the night? Well when he gets knocked out its still clearly day.

Luffy says he just ate a whole bunch of sweets. it wasn't the night before, it was only at most a few hours or even moments ago.

Though this is open to interpretation. Sounds like Neptune recruited all the Fishman District soldiers that very day, and not the following morning.

The cover story is the only thing out of the ordinary, and probably that way because that was how the island was viewed during it's climax.

Well to be fair, I don't know if it's just the bubble surrounding the Palace, but in pretty much all of those panels the background is shaded, and they're inside, so it seems to be dark out, until they get outside in Ch.651

Look at Caribou flying. For some reason Oda just shades the palace bubble darker.

Until I see something where Oda confirms it, it just won't make sense to me how that much happened in less than a day.

And it took the Straw Hats at least three days to get from Thriller Barque to Sabaody, in one of the best ships there are...
So, wouldn't that make it THREE days?
The island can move like a ship so i am sure it moved closer to sa in the two year time skip also the straw hats had to rescue hachi before they could go to sa and then they wasted time going to the red line so i think it would have taken them less time if they had just went to sa !

Well sorry man the evidence is in the manga it's self.

Would you believe the crew met Dorry and Broggy at little garden, then went all the way to Long Ring Long Land and battled Aokiji in less than month? Of course you wouldn't cause it wouldn't make sense. But if you read carefully it's all there.

I do believe that all that all that happened in less than a month because all of the evidence is referenced by the characters.

I'm not saying it's not the case that it's been less than a day, I've said in a few posts that it's likely to be true. I'd just like more evidence to back it up, and so far it's not there other than not sleeping.

All we have to go by for this is they left at x time on Sabaody to Fishman Island and now they've finished their business there, traveled back up to the surface and are on another island. The only thing that makes it believable at all to me is the help they got from the whales, that would cut a huge amount of time off the journey back.

If you compare it to the day of the Knock-Up stream, they've done a lot more since they left Sabaody.

If it's still the same day than it has to be night on Punk Hazard right now.

All i can say is either One piece has Mega long days or they can walk extremely fast. Because In FI there was 1 panel where they had to travel 100km and they did it in like half and hour... So either there minutes etc. are a lot longer then real life or they all on super speed.

I would settle for that the OP world has like 32 hours long days or that Oda isn't really putting much attention to his timeline.

What are you tlaking about? if you emna the 150km thing, it was an mistake made by Oda and that quantity doesn't appearn anymor ein the volumes. It only says "a long distance"

As you can see the 150Km thing was erased in the volume version.

I meant the time spent on the actually islands, not the whole sagas. Sorry it was vague.

I know that there's no actual proof, Ridley, but it seems physically impossible to me that something which takes more than a day to read took less than a day in "their time". Especially when a lot of little things are omitted from the pages. What if they were knocked out for the night after they crashed through FI's outer bubble? Hell, what if Oda just skipped the night, who knows? Let's just agree that there is no way of knowing.

You can ignore everything, but so far there has been no indication of night falling or a full day passing.
