Had a nightmare earlier this morning that scared the shit out of me. I don't remember all of it but I do recall what happened right before I woke up. I was in a bleak, nearly monochrome house. Everything was an unsettling creepy gray. The last thing I remember there is blood and eyeballs everywhere while I hear the sound of children screaming in terror just around the corner with some voice telling me the children have all been damned.
I confess that I had a hard time sleeping after that.

D: I'm sorry to hear that, Jay. Especially after your great day with that girl.
I have to admit that I haven't actually had a nightmare in years, so I can't really relate. The last time I did was just before a hurricane (this creepy bloody/bandaged woman was staring at me from above; it was all black and red) and after the hurricane I refused to go into my room because there was no power and I kept remembering the dream. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time.
Well last night I dreamt I put my little sister & cousin to bed.....in a zoo.....while there was a snake on the loose :/ This is a rare lapse in jugdment for dream-me XD It's okay though, I found a sword (because I suddenly turned into a medieval warrior) and I hacked the snake to bits.
.......What was in that cup of tea last night? o.0

Unfortunately I can only sleep in total darkness.
90% of my dreams are sexual. Think something is wrong with me?:(
Last night:
I dreamt I was either Samus Aran or playing a Metroid game. So in the dream there's a kid outside my house, which is a stage in this Metroid game. But the kid turns into a bear and a boss fight ensues. I wrestle with the bear until it breaks into my house, but then it disappears and is forgotten.
The dream loses all Metroid elements and other things happen, but later everybody remembers that there's a damned bear lurking in our house. I stumble upon it in my room and gently try to lure it out of the house but it turns back into a person and crawls out the window.
...
You had a werebear in your house?
... interesting~ I wonder what that means.
It means bears are crazy and make terrible boss fights.
Jeez no wonder you've tried to weaponize bears before. That's dug deep within your brain.

Wow, that sounds horrible .___.
Well, today I dreamt that... in the next Assassin's Creed game, Nolan North would not dub Desmond anymore. And then I was really dissapointed xD
And I know WHY I had this dream: Yesterday, before I went to bed, I read a lot of stuff about dubbing in video games
God, I love my nerdy dreams xDD
Thank you for the concerns everyone. I meant to type this before leaving for work this morning but alas no time. Also forgetfulness.
I have a lot of nightmares but most of them don't really bug me. I try to stay positive about them. I also try to be productive and use the ideas from my nightmares into my writings, particularly the horror ones. ^_^

Personally, I think nightmares are fun.
@Jay: Uugh, screaming children make everything worse, somehow.
I agree.
Well, as long as I don't have to feel pain in them they are fun. In retrospect, all are at the very least quite interesting to think about.
I still can't get over the feeling of being choked to death. It didn't scare me, still doesn't, but I can't stop thinking about it for some reason. I've caught myself touching my throat absent-mindedly a few times since I had that dream. Maybe I should stop wearing a choker for a while (lol, I know ... but I've been wearing that thing for two years straight, I can't just stop wearing it all of a sudden. I'd feel naked).
