Wow. I mean, I know it was official that Capcom hated one of their mascot properties but... they really hate Megaman don't they?

Well, I can see how Megaman would obviously be on the lower list of cameos compared to Street Fighter which is still relevant today, and is free advertisement for Capcom, but I would still figure he would be somewhere in the movie considering he's still one of the more nostalgic characters from back in the day.

Can anyone recognize any more modern characters in the trailer? I'm curious if they're going to have any modern gaming characters, or if they'll just do parodies of popular modern games. For example, I couldn't tell if the shooting game was based off of anything, or if it was just 'Generic space marine game'.

Edit: Just remembered! They better have some Pokemon cameoes! If there's one thing I could see a bunch of kids wanting to play after seeing it in a movie, it's Pokemon!

As for modern characters . . . . . I dunno, maybe we'll see some Final Fantasy characters? (although out of all the gaming companies, I can see Square-Enix being the least likely to lend their characters. Although they did do Kingdom Hearts . . . . . But I can't imagine Sephiroth in a Bad-Guy Anon meeting.)

Kano from Mortal Kombat is next to the zombie of course.

The robot with the buzzsaw is from an old game as well, but I can't remember the name. Cyborg Warriors? The demon is supposedly from Dungeon Keeper and the elf might be from Wizards 101.

You could mix and match parts for your robots in Cyborg Justice so I think it is correct; it's just not a particular good choice of screenshot for comparison.
