Thread: Felch Discussion Part 3

    Spoiler:
Honestly it's just Kubo being Kubo but at least it proves two things:

    1. Ichigo is finally there which means that we can finally move on to this so-called final battle of the arc.
    2. So basically you can make more than one Hogyoku...at least this FINALLY gives some sense to some things...like how Urahara can take one to the human world while another can be planted into Rukia before she arrives in the human world...OK, it still makes little sense but at least it gives the potential that Kubo finally thought it over and realizing having one made no sense whatsoever. (besides, now I'm having stupid theories of somehow Rukia's Hogyoku and the Hogyoku hidden in her gigai fused together to Aizen's current one)
    Y'know, Negima WAS awesome...
    For the first 18 volumes.

Didnt the Hoygyoku dissolve or something after Aizen said that he didnt need it anymore?
And it looks like the Deicide chapters will continue :(

I already love how, 10 years from now, it'll make no sense that Aizen dies against Ichid'oh + "surprise support" only because of getting striked at two hougyokus simultaniously with suckerattacks like... uh, uuhhh, let's say RASENGA-... i mean Getsuga Tofu!

@ no maam: You aren't seeing the threat of mutiple Kubos not working on the same project, but spamming mutiple series of void into WSJ, condemning all real mangakas... they are money-grubbing and egomaniacle after all...

An Aizen flashback and it doesn't take a whole volume? I guess it's just a preview.

    Spoiler:
Except that still brings up the issue that we basically have two, separate, independent living beings creating the same exact trinket that somehow serves the same exact purpose and share a name with one another. These two aren't living that far apart, but it's pretty obvious now that Urahara had no influence whatsoever from Aizen when making his own Hougyoku.

Even disregarding logic, probability and all that, this goes beyond breaking the suspension of disbelief and takes an axe to chop away the tiniest thread that's left. Then Kubo decided to light a match and burn the remains because his hand slipped after two weeks of not coming up with something more plausible for the bullshit he induced.

    Spoiler:
Honestly, the power of multiple versions of a Macguffin being a villain's downfall can be epic (see Wiseman in the second Sailor Moon series...then again he was so powerful that a time paradox that insane would have to kill him) But...in this case, it's Aizen so it just somehow is going to be dumb in the end.

@Rboar: I didn't say it was completely making sense, but at least it proves that Urahara had one, Aizen had another and that it prevents the one we thought that existed from being the all-being one. I didn't say I liked it, it just makes a tiny smidgen more sense than what we had before with one.

But you know, it might all be a moot point in discussing that.

    Spoiler:
Mostly because reading the spoilers gives me the impression that Aizen fused the two Hougyokus together into one Super-Hougyoku(?).

    I don't fucking know.

Oh and did Gin use such a spell that even Aizen thought Rangiku was dead?

Well he might as well , I mean that would be a "perfect" cliffhanger to stall us through the next three to four months .

Well at least he doesn't have his hands chained together , which was the image I originaly had in my head .

    Spoiler:
Once upon a time I used to think that Unohana's VC Isane looked like a male Ichigo.

Now I think Ichigo looks like a male Isane. (while Isane's last appearance...while waiting for Yammy to rage more...had her look like a taller Mashiro)

Kubo...you really need to learn how to improve character designs.

    That's what you got?
    Spoiler:
He looks like an orange-haired Hisagi to me.
    Spoiler:
More so than before, I mean.
    Spoiler:
    Seriously, it's all there.

I saw Isane instead of Hisagi in that Ichigo. I can't help that. (besides I like Isane)

    Spoiler:
If Gin actually died, he's the most underused character of the series. He's suddenly Mr. Nice Guy and we've never seen him fighting seriously, not even once. what the fuck.

Yep, sounds like another typical week of Felch goodness.
