Yeah it was and luckily so. I enjoyed it very much. Nothing beats the beauty of frozen birch trees with some snow on it's branches.

Quite true, walking outside on a sunny winter's day with crisp cold air is wonderful. I spent my previous winter in England and you wouldn't believe the amount of facepalming I did when the whole country was in a state of national crisis over some heavy snow.
