Just an update for you guys: I finished the next twelve pages, and I only need to color and add dialogue. Hopefully, these next pages will succeed in establishing the actual mood of the series.
A hint of things to come:
A ceremony
Ivotas
A spit-take (my apologies in advance to Robby, Brennen and Urouge)
The real reason why the four heroes were recruited.
And naturally, the dawn of a disaster.

Two things:
1. I'm not sure if that deal between Ivotas and Greg/Dude is really solid, so I'm going to see if I can find any kinks to work out.

@Chrissie: You're orange because you're the orange princess (in the game, there were four color-coded princesses).
@Zyordius: You are going to love what your character can do.
A question: how do I post individual posts on the first page (like Snocone's comic)?
Also, as a little side note, you guys wouldn't believe how much trouble Robo's 'grandkids' line was giving me. I had to go through a lot of other lines first to let Taboo's silence be funny without making it look to obvious.
The next installment will be the battle, the princesses getting kidnapped, and the battering ram before the first fight.
And if you guys are in the dark about any part of the game, I'll post a vid showing what's being parodied.

Woah, I didn't realize I had been portrayed again, recently! I really need to get with the system, haha. I've got to get reading through this, so I can complement it without making shit up!

Edit: Fun stuff. I'm intrigued by the direction and my ego is tickled by my own appearance. of course. My main complain is that the dialogue can get pretty hard to read at certain points. Have you tried working speech bubbles in? The space is a bit tight as it is, but legible dialogue does wonders.

I look forward to the future of this new serialization!

Hey guys, just so that you know that I'm not slacking off, I'm giving a preview of a few pages (no dialogue, no color).
While this is supposed to be a gag comic, well...
Just as fair warning, the bulk of 'guest appearances' will be in the beginning, as that is the best opportunity to get as many people in as possible. After that, Castle Crashers goes from a Barbarian War to four warriors meeting various characters along the way. Basically, if you find that characters suddenly disappear, it's because the majority of the comic takes place outside of the AP Kingdom, and thus away from civilization in this case.
Even so, the comic won't solely be about Shuhan/Robo/Snocone/Cuddles, just their travels. You will get to see old and new faces along the way.
Actually, we barely play a part in the invasion. Our 'heroic debut' won't be until the barbarian war proper.

Two more things (I'm starting to sound like uncle):
1. Since tinypic pics don't always load, I'm going to number the pages, then tell you how many there are (the page number will be reset each time). This way, you'll know if you're missing a page and refresh (there's 5 pages here).
2. I'm also going to give you guys previews of what happens next with youtube vids.

Not bad at all! A little more polish in the art might do wonders (fill tool and zoom in work wonders for those white spots). That Darkstrom thing on the last chapter/part gave me a good laugh, and the mirror gag is always a classic, haha. Keep up the good work!

@Chrissie: Yeah...I'll see what I can do, but your kidnapping scene ain't pretty (but it is funny, and that's what counts).

It might take a bit of a while to do more pages, because I have to do scenes in the Art Thread, the Help Library, 'that thread' in the General area, the Media thread, plus Wagomu, the four guardians and Juju (you'll see). I'll try to have everything sorted out and start drawing in a week.
