Wow that last month just flew by. Only three matches left. I'm worried about prelim #31. I like Cindry, but the first four characters seem to again be the most popular.

Yes, the last thing I want to say is, I don't call Akainu a good guy, and neither a bad guy. Good and Bad are subjective notions, you know. The action itself is neither good or bad, objectively, but defined as good or bad by human subjective belief. "Don't care if people die" and "want people to die" are two different things.
I just post it here, no comment:

LOL! Looks like I missed the awesome match eh? ^^ Wow.... Chimney made it just by 1 vote?? The campaigns must've been very intense!! XD
Ah.... the beauty of tournamenship....... ^^
Akainu is a "good guy" who is blinded by military protocol and an absolutism that anyone and anything that even shows a hint of dissidence must be destroyed in order to achieve what he believes is "peace". To him, the ideals of the Marines and the WG are essentially anything and everything without question. Compare that to Aokiji (who follows ideas but does things on his own and has a sense of feeling regarding right and wrong, such as the whole Robin scenario) or Kizaru (who is closer to Akainu than Aokiji but seems more or less to not take his job as seriously or is too slack to really appear a threat without the fact that he can zap you with light powers when he has to): those two are also of the Marines but do have concepts of judgement or of their own personality that prevent them from being absolute with their powers. Akainu is just so steadfast and loyal to the WG's word that it's his fault: he doesn't care about the scenario or circumstances, he just believes in a black and white world where one tiny scrap of black on a practically white person means that they are a threat and must be eliminated. (great, now I'm imagining him a tad like something created by Ayn Rand with the whole absolutism)
Akainu believes himself to be good because of "justice" and his absolutism; but we see him as evil and a villain because he literally is taking the concepts of 'justice' way too far and does not appear to have a conscious to negotiate him to another side of things. He in a way is a personification of the ultimate result of the cruel means of the "Justice" felt by the Marines.
(yeah sounded a bit rantish but just sort of wanted to explain a bit more about Akainu's status as a villain)
Y'know, Negima WAS awesome...
For the first 18 volumes.
Sigh, and just when we returned back ontopic we get back to the offtopicness. Perhaps I should close this thread for a while.![]()
It was rather amusing! First Vivi was winning then Chimney, then they tied at 158 and at 162, then Chimney started winning again, then Vivi was in the front for a while and Chimney started catching up and that's when I went to bed. I woke up thinking that Chimney probably lost only to see that she had won! ^^ 'Twas one of the best matches in the Preliminaries imo, excitement-wise~ =)
Really?? Wow... I did missed something very interesting! ^^;
And no doubt.... one of those who has the most great campaigns were you, right?![]()
I'll make sure to spare some time to look at the thread, just to see all the awesome campaignsthat I missed
Speaking of campaign.... Rockstar needs your help I guess![]()
And that funny ones usually stuck in my mind for quite sometime... *coughbananabeardcough*![]()
still don't have the time as for right now though =(
I see... yes, when the mood has gone, it wouldn't be as good as it usually is. ^^ It's okay.... I see that you've been campaigning for Cindry...Meh. The campaign spell was broken hours ago...Just don't feel like it anymore. Maybe tomorrow...
btw, the prelim nearly done!!!
I really can't wait to enter the awesome first round!!
trust me... it's going to be awesome..... just wait a little bit more....

That's some real conversation for your ass
Go and reread the thread to find the answer. I recommend reading it backwards.

kay i have a heart and tell it to you..
In the next round there will be a brawl with any chara exept of Basco.
the winner of this super-brawl will go to the final against Basco, where he will lose.
The epic battle of BusterCall vs. Don is decided !!!
And the results are 3:2 for Don..
wouldn`t be his first liver who explodes...
usually those two drink togeather but WB got old and was drinking less.
just look at that little amount shanks brought with to WB...Basco was laughing all day about that.

One more day and the prelim will be over.
So I will campaign for Crocodile from now on.
