    Default Kongoh Bancho

    I think there was a thread about it, but it had just one reply of Kuminator asking IS THEEERE FANSERVICE????>>>!!!@@@

    ...not the most auspicious of starts, so I thought I'd try again(feel free to merge if you think differently).

    Anyway, this is a series about various bosses of territories who are trying to become boss of all tokyo, while the main character is trying to stop them. It has the kinda "manly" vibe of stuff like Fist of the north star & Toriko(particularly the main character), and it is at the end of the day shounen, so there's some comedy & vaguely powerups.

    I rather like it myself, especially the art style. Anyone else reading it?

    The artwork looks good, infact it reminds me of something I just can't place my finger on it. I will check this out tonight.

    Nice manga just readed all the chapters in onemanga and it seems decent and yeah the art is cool also and also yeah the main character and his brother make me remember of Toriko all the time.

    Not even that kind.

    You'll understand when you're further in.

    I just read chapter 2 and this manga is so friggin' manly...I shed manly tears ;.;

    The main character is pretty much-
    Spoiler:
    ++
    i.e. Daigo's manlies+Raoh's body+Phoenix's haircut

    I really didn't like how in Vol. 3/4,
    Spoiler:
    the Banchous that were defeated decided to pitch in and becomes Kongo's friends and help him defeat the 5 that teamed up to defeat him. Though I did expect the little girl and Kato to help but not the first 2. In a way I can get if he changed their views but them deciding to help him out kinda killed some of the series' flare. Then again, maybe the author felt that Kongo fighting against every Banchou would end up being repetitive and dull and so decided to go with this route?
    On the one hand though, I loved how the 4 of them decided to join his Kongo's school, that panel with them sitting next to each other was hilarious.
    The chapter that had him help the hikikamori was pretty good too

    Looking forward to an anime adaption though the animation HAS to be good or else it'd be wasted potentiel =/

    Baldy was the only one who really doesn't fit as far as contrition goes. He just got a gag page.

    The last I read of this series is Vol. 6 (Ch 55). Has the series been dropped from scanlation or some such?

    I was reading this up to date with everything until OM went down. Haven't come across another site hosting it.

    It was okay. Nothing spectacular but held some of my interest.
    Zik Of The 7 Swords: Vision? What do you know about my vision? My vision would turn your world upside down, tear asunder your illusions, and send the sanctuary of your own ignorance crashing down around you. Now ask yourself, Are you ready to see that vision?

    Yeah, I read this for a while, but I got bored. Besides, the only thing you need to know about this manga is this:

    lol, that was one of the best scenes in the series XD.

    If anyone is interested, read Ultra Red, it's by the same guy who did this series. The action and martial arts in it is top notch.

    I like this series and y'know what? Sometimes I think Oda's Former Fleet-admiral Kong borrows Kongo Banchou's appearance despite being from different magazines:

    They look alike.
