I just re-watched A Night at the Opera a month or two ago. I still can't believe Harpo on the curtain lines. It's complete art.

But it is true, there aren't great ensemble comedians anymore. Don't even get me started on Judd Apatow movies. The Hangover is a gigantic exception. And fuck, I don't even think it's an Apatow movie, but nowadays I assume that every comedy ever is one.

But it is true, there aren't great ensemble comedians anymore. Don't even get me started on Judd Apatow movies. The Hangover is a gigantic exception. And fuck, I don't even think it's an Apatow movie, but nowadays I assume that every comedy ever is one.

I'm ok with Judd Appatow movies... they are not as great as people make them out to be but they TEND to be funnier than the usual parade of mediocity that rolls around.

And I don't know why...

But fuck me I loved Hot Tub Time Machine, probably because I LOVE comedies where things are not explained and just ARE (which the Nostalgia Critic tends to hate :V)
