Ooh nice. I do hope they are more original than they were with the 4th gen though. Some of them look like robots or just a bigger version of the one that already existed.

I'm hoping Torkoal gets a pre-evolution and an evolution and Tropis gets two pre-evolutions this gen. They really need them. Plus, I kind of want Torkoal to return in the anime.

It was Fighting < Psychic < Dark < Fighting.

    But, whatever.
I would approve that, but Fire-types are my favorite and they're rare as hell.

    47 Bug Pokémon

    That's ALOT of Pokémon.

    33 Fire Pokémon
    25 Fighting Pokémon
    22 Ice Pokémon

Of course, they'll have a few.

    Are you kidding me?
Thats Great but they need more psychic/bug/poison pokemon cause a.)they are underused and underpowered b.)they have limited evolutions (you sometimes rarely see a three step) and c.)these types could use a greater selection of attacks.

I've been patienly waiting for more eevee evolutions since they first introduced it. Ruby, Sapphire, you let me down....

Yea I'd like to see one too Dunsparce was like so out there. It didn't really contribute anything.

I agree on more attacks, but more Pokémon? Again, no. Underpowered? I don't think so, an experienced trainer can make the best of nearly every Pokémon.

Have you ever since a Happiny rape an entire team before?

Let me remember you, it's a "Baby Pokémon".

I kinda want to train some Bug and/or Psychic Pokémon, but I think I have enough Psychic-types.

I think they should make stronger Bug types a reality. I remember every time I would catch one, I would let out a "y-yay?"
Seriously, more fire, dark, and steel types, and stronger bug types.

Part of me wants them to slightly reorganize the Pokedex so that they can unite all of the scattered evolutionary trees, but a lot of fans are used to the specific numbers and changing that would throw them off.

The number one smartest post I've seen in this thread.

    and stronger bug types.
Pinsir, Forretress, Scizor, Heracross, Yanmega, and Armaldo... maybe Forretress.

Bug-types are equivalent to real life bugs. They're weak as hell, but get bitten by one and you just might get fucked up.

They should add Light type maybe since there's already a Dark type. Preferably, I'd like to see a lot of new families/species than just evolutions. As for legendaries, I really hope they don't look retarded this time around. Arceus, for being the creator of the universe, looked pretty retarded imo.

WOW, sorry I meant 497... epic fail. But no, I don't know 1, 2 and 3, I can name the first 9 but not in order.

...There's not even 497 Pokemon. 493, yes, but you're four over.

    But there's only 493 pokemon.

    EDIT: Cyan said it faster.

Well....do you know 025? It's the mascot of Pokemon.

I'd have to agree with that. Togekiss would had been "perfect" as a Light-type.

But, of course, people will mention Normal-types, if so? I'd say, it can be a "Special" version of the "Physical" Normal-type.

Yet... which would have an advantage against each other?
You'd say Light beats Dark, but I see them resisting each other.

I don't see it happening honestly, but it'll be awesome to see it... also with a "Light Gym Leader" and finally, a "Dark Gym Leader".

Preferably, I'd like to see a lot of new families/species than just evolutions.
    Agreed.

As for legendaries, I really hope they don't look retarded this time around.
    Once again, agreed.

Arceus, for being the creator of the universe, looked pretty retarded imo.

Not trying to sound like an asshole, but are you new to Pokémon?

I actually like the way Arceus looks. Incomprehensible and hideous, just the way I like my Creators.

Oh, I thought there were 497, well, now I know 4 because I just learned pikachu was number 25. It's not like I don't know there names, I just don't know their numbers.

Okay, I want to look at him, ignore the epic light he just created (irony) and his bitches...

I know that's a "bad" picture to use to show his "ugliness", just for the pure fact that he looks epic ass hell, but look at his face!

I'm not too huge of a pokenerd to know them all by numbers, but I'll admit I know a few (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,25,26,152,153,154,155,156,157,1 58,159,160)

I never really liked the idea of Normal type pokemon. I dunno, they just seemed so...normal.

Oh, and good pic of Arceus:

Yea, pretty fugly. I hope they're more creative with designs this time around and focus less on legendaries.
